Hi everyone, welcome to another of my realistic mods. To continue my work on making sure earning money in the sims 4 is more of a challenge than it originally was, I altered income from royalties (apps, games, books, djmix, lifestyle brand, video, music), paintings, songs and lyrics by 50%. In my search to a mod that already did that, I did find a mod that increased the payout of those things, but also added a bonus payout for famous sims. I spoke to the creator of this mod and she allowed me to use that bonus payout to add to my mod as well, and I would like to thank LittleMsSam for that.

What Changed:
Apps/Games:
50% lower royalties, famous Sims will get a bonus percentage depending on their fame level.

Books:
50% lower royalties, famous Sims will get a bonus percentage depending on their fame level.

DJ Mix (Get Together):
50% lower royalties and increased to 10 payments (from 7), famous Sims will get a bonus percentage depending on their fame level. You need Get Together.

Lifestyle Brand (Get Famous):
50% lower royalties, famous Sims will get a bonus percentage depending on their fame level. You need Get Famous.

Paintings:
Lowered retail price and crafting cost by 50%. Seperate files for base game, Outdoor Retreat and University.

Songs & Lyrics:
50% lower royalties and increased to 10 payments (from 7), famous Sims will get a bonus percentage depending on their fame level.

Video & Music Production (Get Famous):
50% lower royalties, famous Sims will get a bonus percentage depending on their fame level. You need Get Famous.

Additional Credits:
I'd like to thank LittleMsSam for letting me add the bonus percentage based on fame level to this mod (Click here for her Higher/Longer Payments (Royalties) mod: https://littlemssam.tumblr.com/post...alties-for-apps), and the creators of Sims 4 Studios for being awesome.

Haven't tried it out yet but this is a really great idea for a mod! The sims is just a little too easy and this makes it harder and more realistic!

Hey Satira, I'm glad to see you're back. Thank you for another amazing mod! I absolutely love your mods and can't wait to see more of them.

Btw, have you thought about making a similar mod for collectibles? I never let my sims collect anything because it makes it way to easy for them to become rich

Good to see you again!

I did make that kind of mod once, but it was very tedious and had to redo every time they updated. So I removed that mod. I also wasn't able to figure out how plants worked, which was the one thing I wanted to edit the most haha.

Was in the process of making such a mod after furfilling a request on the Sims 4 Studio forums to reduce royalties for videos, looks like you beat me too it. :P

Have you considered making a 75% lower version aswell? That's what I did for my video royalties nerf.

Yees! I hope this still works with the newest patch, because I'm so tired of how easy it is to make money in the Sims 4! This was very needed!<33

I'm assuming this still works, it just won't effect new jobs in the Eco DLC. ie it won't break anything?

Actually, I came looking for a mod which increased the royalties.. none found, but this mod which lowers it.. after EA changed the Taxation for the plantations, having a house at the pinnacle means, you pay about 400k.. yes that is right, 400,000 simolians.. so an increase in royalties I think would be great.. maybe you could do x2 x5 and x10.. that might work.. thx..

Wondering if this will get an update. But also, is there any way the income/pay for other craftables could be added, like plants woodworking, flower arrangements etc.?
