Hello, again my simmers!!!
This time I'm bringing you all a very cute and nostalgic food place that use to be up and running in the 1940s.
A little backstory about this place according to my mom:
My mom told me that when this food place was up and running, she was 7 years old (she is currently 83 years old) and the "La Via Railroad" was still working. She uses to pass by this place when she was on her war to make some delivery chores for all the neighbors (including the lady that attended that food place). She uses to stare at the massive line in front of the "Fonda", waiting for their food. They had to wait outside the food place because it was so small that just a couple of persons made it seem like the place was packed. My mom told me with a cracked voice: "I can close my eyes and still see the "Fonda", I can remember clearly how it looked on the outside and inside. I can also remember the Owner's house, inside and outside to the tea because they were very humble and grateful people... something I will never forget".
When I showed her the "My Childhood Home" and "My Childhood Home part 2" uploads, she was so amazed by the similarities that she asked me if I could recreate "La Fonda 20&20"; and since the structures are still there (abandoned but still almost intact as shown in the real-life photos below) I said, "sure mom". She told me to recreate it so the memories would last, even if she forgets it one day.
So here it is!!! a very beautiful memory turned into a totally functional home business for all you simmers to enjoy!!!! Right form "My Mom's Memories"
