I think this is great! Thanks!!
Sorry to ask, but this would be the first music mod I install. Where should I place the files, please?

It was honestly my pleasure! I'll look into stings soon-they shouldn't be too much trouble, just renaming a whole bunch of files.

Just plop the music package and one of the config packages in your overrides folder and everything should work smoothly. You can find more information in the upload description on which config file does what.

I just finished listening to the video you linked in your description, and now I'm in the mood to play Sims Medieval again. :) Thank you very much for this; I always loved the music!

You said this music is now on CD. Where did you get the CD? I would love to be able to listen to it when away from my computer.

You're welcome! And my apologies, I didn't mean a physical CD release (I edited the post shortly after I realised the mistake). From what I can tell it's on most streaming platforms though! If you really wanted to you could even buy it from an online store and burn it to a CD yourself.

Regarding the CAS room, I'm not entirely sure it is possible. I haven't really looked into it, but all of the CAS rooms I've ever seen have just been retextures. A quick search did bring up a pretty sweet retexture someone did though, I'll link it below.

EDIT: Okay so I've looked through the game files and from what I can tell it should be possible to switch the model out for the medieval one, but I'm not really sure how to do it yet.

Is there any way you can convert this mod into a radio station instead of a complete overhaul of all sims 3 music? You see I have a sims 1 music download that replaces the CAS/MAP/BuildBuy music and I would love to keep that while having the option to enjoy this mod as well.

This! I really do like the Medieval music, but it would be cool to have it picked as a radio station!

Default Update
Update time! I never saw your replies until just recently, so I apologise for me taking so long. I've moved a few things around and added a stereo config file to the download.

The new stereo config is not compatible with the old version of the mod, as all of the audio instances are now different (files are now named after their official song title, instead of "SimsMedieval_Build01" for example).

The reason the stereo config is so large is because I've added some new (previously unused) songs from the digital releases! The songs are "Humble Beginnings" and "The Eyes Of The Watcher". I also included alternate versions of the looping files that fade out a little more nicely at the end, so they're a little less jarring to listen to. Since these assets are only relevant to the stereo station, they are in the config file. Enjoy!

Default Hello
I have been playing the sims 3 and doing a challenge in Medieval times this definitely would make it feel more in that time period. I also wanted to asked where do we place the the mods? Just in the Mod Folder or Mod> Overrides folder? Thanks for making this mod

Hi there! Yes, the overrides folder is the correct place to install the mod. Enjoy!

Thank you so much for this mod, I grew to really hate the default sims 3 music but I've always loved the sims medieval music!
and now I don't feel the need to make a panicked grab for my speakers everytime the menu musics come on

(I used to always turn my game music off, but it turns off the sims radio musics too, and I like having those on!)

Hi! Love the mod so far- I am one of those who bought and loved TSM and these days am v sad that I can't run it on my Windows 10 machine, so I am hugely appreciative of any TSM conversions. And aren't there a lot around! Makes me happy. This one certainly made the biggest difference to my gameplay. No more ITF music. Yay! THANKS!
