Enjoy this beautifully landscaped home with a unique lay out.

Split level jewel with sunken living room and den, large open kitchen and dining area, powder room, and entry closet on the main level.

The upper floor has two bedrooms sharing a bathroom, and a master suite with a private balcony.

The basement has a home gym, laundry, storage room, and complete crafts room. Outside, there are two nice sized porches, a pond to swim in, and dew collectors and solar panels to help with the bills.

I love this! What tutorial did you use to make the split-level? I've been dying to figure it out, but my brain isn't wrapping around it. Thanks for the house!

It can only be done on the first floor and it has to be on top of a foundation. Create walls around the area where you want to have the split level (to create a new room), then delete the floor on that room (press K and click on the floor) and then delete the walls, et voilá!

Hope I've been of some help.

That is exactly how I did it! Built my main floor, raised the walls to make a foundation, clicked on the floors of the living room and den and deleted them, then added stairs. I love the effect and still practical. One note: The foundation part and sunken part act like two different rooms, so you can't put a tv on the foundation and have them watch it from the couch in the sunken part (at least from my experience) Good luck building!

Thank you so much! I'll try it out now; excellent explanations, both of you!
