One of the things that made me stop playing The Sims 2 as much is because I had to merge every single CC manually, hope this help a bit!

I'm getting this error when merging packages sometimes. Just today I was merging clothing recolors, 2-5 files & this still popped up.

Just for simmers' future reference:

This does not work with facial-sliders or neighborhood objects either.

This tool is amazing.
I went from 17.6gig of downloads (yes I have a problem) to 9.65, and 8 minutes loading time to 37 seconds!!!!!
Also, you can't merge your default replacement folder.

Thank you! I am so tempted to do that, good thing I checked the comment page. Speaking of which, how do you manage to get the file size down from 17.6 Gb to 9.65 Gb? I just tried it out with my cc hair, and I noticed that the size remains the same before and after merging.

If it's within scope, it would be useful to be able to select specific packages rather than entire folder - I like to merge sets so I can more easily identify them. But it's easy enough to just put it into a subfolder. Thank you!

Is it safe to merge my walls and floors? I don't plan to delete any of them in the future.

I'm having an issue merging furniture? When I boot up the game either doesn't load the texture, the mesh or in most cases both. Is there something i can do in SimPE to fix this?

When merging object sets, it appears that the merger can give one of the items in the set a group number that matches something from game. So if users want to merge objects, be wary. You could lose something from the game.

Am unsure how you are hashing out new group numbers, but if you want to look into it the 4to2 desert luxe kit by lord crumps has one object that gets the same group number as the medicine career.
