love this but once again, i think having the super collection is making the fire pit not show up. even though like the other objects i've had issues w/ but have the correct packs that are listed, i think it's something about the super collection vs. like a complication w/ other cc (b/c i had to figure out what crashed my game a week ago & have been going through everything meticulously).

Hi, Ladysimplayer8 I got a report of guid conflict on SimPE about the firepit from this set. Could you look into it, please? Seems like the firepit might still have the guid from the object you cloned

Hello @nosferatuman
Thank you for bringing this to my attention that you have a problem.
Unfortunately I am not at home at the moment to check my files; I think it was cloned from the Bon Voyage fire logs (apologies I don't recall it's correct name). I believe there are absolutely loads of guids (30?) so it is possible I could have made a mistake while changing them all despite my effort to be methodical.
If you leave it with me, I will check at the weekend and advise/update as required.

Update
I am now at home and checked my records.
The firepit was cloned from Logs of Burning and has 26 Guids which I have methodically marked and checked.
In my Sims2 Game, both objects are playable:-

otherwise both would not show up in-game.
May I ask why you were using SimPE for my object? Were you using it to clone for some similar object?
If you have used it, you would have to change all 26 Guids.

No, I got this report because I had to scan my downloads folder for conflicts because I was trying to find the name of this file that was overwriting an object from the game, and that led me to find out I had several custom objects with duplicate GUIDs that weren't mods or default replacements. Like I did here, I asked the creators of those objects about it when I couldn't find updated versions anywhere.

But if this fire pit isn't affecting any other object from the game, you're right, it's not a problem at all. Similarly, I asked DeeDee-Sims about some rug add-ons she made years ago, and she said that they weren't overwriting anything nor affecting any part of the game in any way, despite the GUID numbers, and that's good enough for me.

Thank you for replying and for looking into it, as well as for converting this set :)

Hello @nosfertuman
Glad that it is no longer a problem for you.
At Mod the Sims, creators are expected to create the object (), check that there are no display issues, functions properly and the item it is cloned from also works with the new item in-game too. It is also subject to the Moderator's process to check everything too and also in case something is overlooked. I hope this process gives you some assurance that the downloads at MTS should not have any conflicts.
