OMGGG.......I could write a novel of thanks for this mod. It bummed me out when that other rename mod stopped working. I have alot of babies I need this for.....THANK YOU!!

Love this mod, but I am experiencing an issue. When renaming, it seems like a hyphen in the name makes the next letter lowercase (ex. the last name Ngata-Illes turns into Ngata-illes). Would love a fix for this if possible!

This is due to me not knowing how to get the capitals probably so I used the string.capwords function, I will try to figure out how to get the capitals and upload an update.

I have the opposite issue that it capitalizes parts that shouldn't be capitalized (particles like "van", "de"...)
Do you really feel like you need to use capwords? Maybe it could be better to leave the capitalization as specified by the player?

Can you implement some features? Like only digit "rename Old Name" and a box appear to choose the new one... Sometimes the last name goes wrong, like the Sim I renamed McAllister and became Mcallister... A small detail, but I like to report.

But the thing I really would like to have in the game is manually choosing the last names of the newborns between the father's or mother's last names if they doesn't match. I want it because I'd like to preserve the traditional surnames in the world (Illes, Goth, Landgraad) and not losing them because of story progression and marriages with random NPCs.

Yeah I came to say the same thing. I do alot of hyphenated last names so the second part of the name being capitalized would be a great help. Thanks again for the mod....

I have a npc sims without a name, can I just give a name in that way or I need to rename?
Can we do it only by shiftclick on a sim? If not, it will be great to have this feature
