This should keep the bare belly from hanging out, from under certain tops. Just have to make sure they're worn with a dark colored top; unless they're available with multicolored bands?

Absolutely!
The first sim is wearing "Lumy-sims Raven boots" and the last sim is wearing "Puresims conversion of Pixicat's acne clover boots"
