Yay! Thanks so much. Out here in the real world, what you do as a child impacts your skills as a teen; I don't know what EA was thinking.

I seriously cannot thank you all enough! Your support and thanks has meant everything to me and I'm so glad I could help with this issue that clearly bugs quite a lot of people other than myself

How would this compare to or work with TwistedMexi’s “Lifetime Skills: Toddler and Child Skills that carry over!”? I don’t think I have that one installed as of yet, but it is something I have looked at and I am curious as to which would work better for me. I’m kind of leaning toward yours, but I would like to know how you would compare them. Obviously his deals with both toddler and child skills, but I’m actually not even sure if the toddler part of his is even needed and I think your child part sounds more interesting.

I actually hadn't tried out that mod before, but after some toying around, seeing as they both affect the same areas of gameplay, I would assume they would conflict with each other, but I honestly couldn't say with 100% certainty as that mod is a script file, vs. mine which are just tuning package files. As for the major differences, honestly, it all depends on how you want the child skills to change when they age into a teen. With my mod, it'll directly convert the 4 child skills to the corresponding adult skills, but with TwistedMexi's, it does pretty much the same thing, but it also splits the children's Creativity skill into 3 adult skills, rather than just the Painting skill.

The last two times I have tried that mod it has come up as out of date and doesn't work. That's why I clicked on your mod.

Makes sense. Thanks for the response.

Is it? I’m not sure he does a great job keeping things up to date on this site especially given some of his stuff isn’t even available here, but that is good to know.

I can only speak for my game, but I had several children age up since the patch and everything worked as it should.
So for me it works fine
