meetmetotheriver's clean templates clean up the maxis hoods by fixing a lot of mistakes that maxis made.

Here is a link to a post by meetmetotheriver that explains all of the changes in all of the clean templates.

Here is a link for another post by meetmetotheriver that explains the changes specific to the clean Bluewater Village.

Hope that helps.

This is a good idea. I know some people (quite a lot of people actually) don't like townies, but to me they represent the rest of the world, and can add a bit of variety to the population of a neighbourhood.

Myself, several years ago I attached Tarlia's/meetmetotheriver's version of Bluewater to Veronaville, which is my main game. As you mentioned, Tarlia's version only has 17 Bluewater townies out of the thirty in Maxi's Bluewater. The Bluewater Sims are now thoroughly integrated into what is by now quite a mature community. I have no intention of starting over, or of adding a Bluewater to another neighbourhood, as I prefer to have each Sim only once in my home game.

So I wonder if there is any chance of you sharing the townies without the neighbourhood, so I could add the missing Bluewater townies to my game?

All Sims are beautiful -- even the ugly ones.

I can send you the templates for the Bluewater village townies so that you can recreate them in your hood.
Do you want me to upload them on Mod The Sims or send them to you privately?

Installing this subhood will not affect already created subhoods and only newly created ones.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong but this just isn't showing up for me! I deleted the B001 folder in my Best of Business/Ep3/TSData/Res/NeighbourhoodTemplates and shoved this in instead, but nothing! Any ideas?

The only things I can think of that would cause a neighborhood to not show up in game is when 2 neighborhoods have the same file name or the neighborhood was made in a later game version than your game is set to.
So I believe that you either download main hood version by accident (the subhood version has the filename B001) or there is another neighborhood in our game with the filename B001.
(The hood does require you to have Mansion & Garden stuff for it to show up in game, but I am assuming you have the ultimate collection)

Hope that helps.

I have a custom neighborhood that already has the filen name N004. Since I've spent 65 sim days on it I don't wanna delete or have to remember to replace them each time I want to play one or the other. Do you have a version that has a different file name?

I don't have a version with a different filename, but you can very easily change the filename yourself.
Here is a link to an article that explains how to do that.

Hello! Will there be a way to add the two Bluewater Village Newspaper NPC's to already existing Bluewater Village neighbourhoods because I would like them in my game without restarting my whole hood if that's possible of course. Thank you for these neighbourhoods I cannot live without them! <3

Thank you for the nice words!
I suppose you can do what I did to add the Newspaper NPC's to this hoods. You load this hood in SimPE with the 2 NPCs you extract their sim description, DNA, and their Wants and Fears files. Then you copy their character files to the hood you are playing, add all of the stuff you extracted, and finally add then to the family the rest of the NPCs are in. If their character files have the same number as another sim, then you can change the number by editing the file name and the object data file in the character file.

Thank you very much, I'll try that once I get back to the game!

Hello! I have the problem that all the names of the families in this neighborhood appear in english and not in the language i have predefined in the game (spanish). do you know why that happens?
