I have been looking all over for just Dina and finally because of you, you got her for me, thank you so much but I am having problems with downloading her because I am afraid it will overwrite her in the game as what she really is. This happened to me before, I downloaded some clothes that defaulted the game and now I can never get them out of my game even though I deleted every file of the download, still in the game, it screws up and I don't want to go through that again. I am afraid if I download Dina, it will default her in the game and then my game will not work. So, I am asking you for help. I haven't touched the body shop for sims 2 because it is all screwed up, its not like Sims 1, where it was so much easier to make clothes. I don't know how to use the body shop for Sims 2. But I want Dina so bad. What can I do to get her? Please help me. Thanks.

I opened this mod(?) in Pleasantview where a few decades has passed and all the Sims in CAS are identical to the ones in the nieghbourhood, so eg. Alexander Goth is an adult, Brandi Broke an elder. Should it work like that? That the game 'updates' their age and look in CAS. When I first tried this mod in my test neighbourhood, all the sims in CAS were the same age as at the start of the game.

Adding sims into the SavedSims folder just adds in their physical looks and genetics, not the aspects you set like their personality or asperation when you create them in CAS. In order to get these sims in game, you have to put them in your SavedSims folder or create one if you don't have it, open CAS and look in the premade sims tab at the top of the screen in the first tab, where you find all the sims shipped with the game. Then you add in the personality and names, change clothes, etc, and create your family. You can have Dina all by herself in a new neighborhood if you wish. None of these sims should overwrite anything at all.

If you put them in the actual Sims folder (Neighbourhood/N001/Sims) then they might overwrite the data from the sims with same instance and end up overwriting the age, personality and other information of that sim.

The mod just gives the appearance and genetics of the Pleasantview Sims, not a literal copy of the sim.

@Ryy The rar is not damaged, it unpacks for me ok and the files are all intact.

@Sims Girl You need to get a program to help you unpack rar files, I noticed you mentioned in a few other downloads that you were having issues and it's always on the downloads with rar files. I suggest 7Zip:
