It's a beautiful mesh, regardless, and you've done a wonderful job. I'm clueless about meshing, but even I can agree that 18,000 polygons is way too many. I can imagine the total system meltdown it would cause. :P
I look forward to any future creations you're willing to share though, and keep up the fantastic work.
