I did pull up the info window in my game, but obviously it doesn't tell me about the weather.

The lot concerned is here on MTS2. The thread now contains both the original (freezing) file, and the file where I hope I have weatherproofed it. Here is the link, with screenshots.

Lol, then, the wallpapering method and the cell-darkening tests?

These tricks all work in all EPs.

Thanks for checking...maybe the person who reported the problem DID download the wrong house after all - I asked, and she swore it was that one and not my other A-Frame. I know the other one has a couple of holes in it, but she seemed sure.

Yes, the wall-papering and cell-darkening were fine.

Anyway, I did learn here about extracting the attic walls, so all these posts have not been in vain. And since the attic walls DO appear to be weatherproof, I can go on building with a clear conscience.
