What made your day today? V. 2
You can probably guess why this is a v. 2!
...The old thread had 3000 posts! My sister is coming to stay for the weekend! We're picking her up from the train station on friday evening. She apparently wants to borrow me for a photography assignment, so that should be interesting. |
Some girlies and I finally got our plans set in stone for a party next month. It's going to be huge and we had no idea where we'd go afterwards and who would be our designated driver until today. Now all that's left to do is get excited!

In eighth grade, we wrote letters to our future selves that our teacher promised to mail upon the event of our high school graduation. I received my letter today and found it amazing how much I've changed and yet how much I haven't changed at all.

I'm in Portland for the week, helping my dad and step-mom move into their new house. My little sis and I decided it would be hilarious to go planking, and it was so funny, people thought we were dead
Oh, and I got over $1,000 in graduation money. Winning? Yes! |
Seeing all you lovely ladies talking about graduating from your respective high school's and universities has really made me realise what is important here.
I've known for a while now that leaving school in a lot of cases is generally not a good idea. And while I absolutely could not handle being in a school environment I needed to be there. Education is soooo important. We are so lucky to have the opportunity to recieve an education and have the ability to go out and just learn. So... What made my day today? I've finally reached out and asked for help. I am going to finish my schooling and not take any of it for granted. Thank you ladies for being such huge inspirations! Life is too short to waste. Make the most of everything you are given, relish your education, ENJOY learning new things! You can do absolutely anything you set your mind to! |
I don't normally post things like this, but I look bloody adorable today :3
|
Eighth grade Moving Up ceremony tomorrow! Let's hope I win some awards. I have a 99 average in Social Studies and a 100 average in French, so I better!

4,579 words later, my portfolio is finally finished. Phew.
|
I got my university degree results! Thank you, thank you, thank you God, or Buddha, or Krishna, or whoever is out there. Even though it was unlikely that I was going to suddenly drop a grade after this last semester, I was still getting worried about it. I am so relieved.
|
It's 2:30 and only 70 degrees outside. Yay!
|
I was driving on the congested interstate in Indianapolis today and some guy zoomed around me because he was pissed off that I wasn't exceeding the speed limit. A few miles down the road, I saw that he was pulled over on the shoulder of the road and getting a speeding ticket from a cop. I love karma.

Fresh raspberries. Yum!

I went to CVS and bought an 11 ounze bag of peanut butter m&m's. Omnomnom

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YLHp...nel_video_title I forgot how much I loved this song.
EDIT: I find it truly amazing how bands can hide beautiful lyrics in screams and grunts. I love bands that do this, but it amazes me... and proves that you really have to see the lyrics of any song before judging it. |
I got my prize from the Gos sim challenge, I love it!
|
~Cramping is gone! YAY!
~I have exactly 7 more days of being an 8th grader, then onto high school! ~Today is grocery day here at the abode, so I might get my ice cream! :D |

We went to buy 2 bananas, and ended up spending over $100 on stir fry sauces and marinades and cheese and all this random stuff he wanted. |
