General Guidelines
To make things easier for the downloader, it's important to list the pose/animation name used. this way, your downloaders knows what the pose/animation is without having to search for it. You can do this with either the full pose name in your description or sharing it in a picture, displaying the pose with the pose name that belongs with it.
The most clear way to do this is to list the full pose name and a description of it, like "Walking pose 1 - The pose where the sim walks off in anger". That way it's easier to understand which pose you're describing!
For images, always try to make sure that the pose name on the image is easy to read. So no small font sizes or font types that are hard to read. If multiple poses are shown in one picture, text placement can help clearly identify which pose is which.
The Sims 4 Guidelines, apply in addition to the above General ones.
Poses and Animations
These days poses aren't really being overwritten anymore to create poses (though if this is the case, please refer to this guideline: overwritten pose guideline) However, when in game, it's important to know the name of your pose pack as well as the names of your poses, so downloaders at least know what they're getting :) This can also be done by sharing an image of your pose pack and your pose list or by writing the names down.
Also, while not necessarily required, but strongly recommended if your pose pack name in-game differs from your download's title, a mention of what your pose pack is called can really help downloaders to know where to find them in-game!
The Sims 3 Guidelines, apply in addition to the above General ones.
For the sims 3, a pose name should always start with one of these prefixes: a_ c_ p_ b_ Example: a_lyra_rollingover
When sharing animals, they always should start with one of these prefixes: ah_ ad_ al_ ac_ Example: ad_lyra_sitdown
Poses not using these prefixes may not work correctly.
The Sims 2 Guidelines, apply in addition to the above General ones.
For the sims 2, pose names are the names that can be found when clicking on your pose box and then what is being shown on the pie menu. All the names displayed in the pie menu are your pose names and those should be listed... and/or displayed in pictures with a visual idea of what the pose looks like of course :)

Possible Assessments
It seems like you either haven't shared all pose names or haven't shared the full pose names.
While you've added the pose names in your description or images, it's not entirely clear which names correspond to which poses.
While you've made it easy to figure out which pose name is correspondent to which pose, It seems to be missing any mention on what your pose pack is called. Without this, it might be difficult for downloaders to find your pose pack in-game.
You've shared all the pose names and made it clear which names correspond to which poses. Nice!

Examples
Correct - Description
Pose names: a_Lyra_crossedArms a_Lyra_Talking
Why is this correct?
Because it's short, and we wrote down the full name of the name. As a bonus, it will be easy to copy paste these from your description to paste it into the 'pose by name' menu!
Incorrect - Description
My poses: S36B20C4F30000000004C8C8875135E9E6aLyracrossedArms%%+CLIP.animation Lyra_Talking
Why is this incorrect?
The first 'name' is actually a resource and makes it incredibly hard to figure out what it's name it exactly is. The second one, without the a_ won't be recognised as a pose in-game, so writing the full pose name is really important here!
(TS4 only): My pose pack is called 'Random is randomness!'
My poses have the following name:
Because we successfully listed all our pose names! That way, downloaders can easily find back the poses they wanted to use :) We also can easily figure out by the names what exactly the pose actions are. However, this would not have been acceptable if you have, for example, 2 poses called 'running pose 1, running pose 2'. Since that will confuse a lot of people. For that, please see the 'describing' example.
I have made 10 other poses which you can easily find when clicking on the posebox
Because downloaders won't have a clue what your pose box exactly includes or maybe understanding which pose belongs to which name. This way, the downloader is pretty much forced to try every single pose before they found the pose they wanted.
Incorrect - No names
Hi guys! I made 5 new poses. if you wanna get the pose names, just open up the package file!
For The sims 3, pose names are super important. Without this, or any background knowledge on how to make poses or even knowing how to open a package file, it will be impossible for the downloader to use your poses or even find the actual pose names to begin with. That's why it's always important to list them. :)
Correct - Describing everything
(TS4 only): My pose pack is called 'The walking sim'
Say you only called your poses 'pose 1, 2, 3, etc.' or something as simple as in this example 'walking 1.' It doesn't really give much of a description of what the pose is suppose to represent. That's why it's in those cases a good idea to describe the poses so the images can help the downloader understand which pose name is suppose to represent what. This is especially a good way of doing it when you really don't feel like adding the pose name with every individual pose.
Incorrect - Too small
While some downloaders might just be about able to read it, it is really hard to read the text displayed on the image. You don't want your downloaders having to grab a magnifying glass to read the pose names!
Tip! If you're not sure whether your image's font size or font is easy to read, it's very recommended to go for a font as simple as 'arial', 'avenir', 'helvetica' or any other sans-serif fonts. This is because script-fonts, serif-fonts can really make it difficult to read if your font size is a tad smaller due to the length of your pose names.
For the size of the font, just stand as far away as you can from your screen and see if you can still read the things that you wrote! :) Also try to go with short pose names so it's easier to go with font-size 72px
Incorrect - Hard to understand
It's really difficult to figure out which pose might be the other. Now maybe the names might sort of give it away but it's still not easy to see this at first sight. This especially will be confusing when you have pose names like a_pose1_posepack, a_pose2_posepack, etc
Incorrect - The shopping list
It's probably fair to say that when listing poses like this, it would have been way faster and easier to write them down in your description rather than in a picture. In fact, when it comes to sharing pose names on pictures, it's better to show the poses so people understand what pose name is which.
Correct - The picture way
We can easily see that 'a_Lyra_crossedArms' and 'a_Lyra_Talking' belongs to 2 different sims and what the poses are suppose to represent! The font style and size are also easy to read!
Correct - Pose names for poses
We can easily see that this is pose 1, and it has it's own description, 'Catch it'! We can also easily see what pose is suppose to be 'pose 1' and it's font is nice and big too!
