This is my Round Three submission, I chose The Wilson Family.

Did this house drive anyone else bonkers? I've never hated Maxis designers more, I swear. I dealt with the terrain as was, but thank you for allowing us to fix that horrible hole in the wall in the front!

I imagined Sarah wearing the pants in the family, so the house reflects her tastes overall (she did let Tom have a nice TV and an X-Box, though!). I focused a lot on the yard, added some amusements for the family but left it open enough for games of catch when Daniel gets old enough.

I left out the pic of the front room but there's a piano, a sitting area, and a bookcase to keep them entertained. I made faux 'baby safety gates' around the kitchen and at the head of the stairs, both have gates sims can pass through (I know technically the toddlers can too, but in my mind it made sense, ahaha).

However, the fence around the upstairs doors in the baby's room effectively cuts them off. I accept if you shave points off for that, it was one of those stupid things that bothered me (Lindbergh Baby flashbacks, haha). I put drapes over the doors and put a security panel in there too. I know burglars can't enter that way in the game, and I know toddlers can't actually go out on the balcony and fall off, but it just bugged the crap outta me anyway. I went with my insane obsession over points this time, lol.
