The Wilson Family: Sarah and Tom, and little Daniel have out-grown their old home. Now that Daniel is a toddler they just need more space than their one bedroom apartment. Sarah loves country decor. They would love to have a nice yard because the entire family enjoys spending time outside.
This is the ground floor of the Wilson's family home. As you can see it cost exactly $60,000....
Here is the overhead of the first floor. Daniel got the weirdly shaped room as there was no way to fit a double bed in there.
The kitchen is strictly Sarah's domain. Tom is a rubbish cook but she's always felt quite at home in the kitchen and she loves the way this one looks and feels when she's busy in there. All the healthy food you can see on the side is hers; the cereal is Tom and Daniel's!
The dining area is right next to the kitchen, which means that Daniel can sit in his highchair whilst Sarah cooks (or in this case reads the paper!).
The whole family loves the living room. It's a nice place to relax and chat - today they're discussing the unseasonably fine weather - it's almost Christmas but look how sunny it is!
Sarah and Tom's bedroom is a comfy, peaceful space, with a few treasured photos on the wall and the dresser. Sarah believes that having photos around really helps make a house a home, and though he'd never say so out loud Tom totally agrees!
The bathroom is small but functional, and Daniel loves the rooster tiles - he points and smiles at them every time he has his bath in there.
The door out to the garden looks like it's blocked by the stove, but it's perfectly usable - lucky really, as that's the only way out into the garden! Sarah enjoys the outdoors, but it's much better when it's not raining!
They all love spending time out there, especially when the weather's nice. Sarah is the swimmer in the family - Tom is not keen on exercise of any kind. Oh, and out here is the one place Tom will do the cooking - he's the BBQ King! At least according to him....
All in all the Wilsons love their new home in Pleasantview and hope to spend many happy years here together.
