It's no secret around here that *some* of us ladies (and some of the gentlemen too) are a bit keen on Thornton Wolff.
He's wasted on Morgana. Need I say more? So I decided to build a house for Thornton - just for him alone. Naturally the house isn't in Sunset Valley, it's in a tropical paradise, a place he can be himself. What 'himself' actually is, I am not sure - but I hope that he finds it in this space.
Built in a contemporary style, and decorated with a retro 60s chic vibe, Arrivederci Morgana! is more of a bachelor pad than a family home.
Three fins rise above the top floor - a floor which is purely decorative having been constrained to provide a pleasing series of overhangs and columns.
Be well assured than no one will be potty training anyone on the shiny floors. There will be no flailing around with
gourmet baby food in the Chilli Red kitchen. And certainly no junk or clutter whatsoever in the stylish wet-room which leads
from the one and only bedroom. Of course there is room for a second bedroom if (god forbid) children ever came along, but who wants to rip out a perfectly good sauna?
Externally the grounds are on the arid side, hot climate planting and sandy soil, but it's easily taken care of and there are no plants to water. There is a simple pool and outdoor eating area, and to turn the head of any new and suitable mate for life, there is a vintage Aston Martin DB5 in a daring shade of Tangerine purring on the drive.
CFE used extensively on the roof structure, in the fins and the staircase.
This house was built in total of three times, in various forms, in three different worlds until I decided that Sunlit Tides was the place for it.
