Are there any fans of The Sims 2 series on PlayStation 2 or modders who would be interested in remastering and modding the game? It is possible to mod PS2 games and replacing textures is very simple. If anyone would be interested, we could start a community project, because people don't remember these games, and mods for Sims games from the PS2 era are almost non - existent.

What has been already done to modernize these games?

• Arapapa made a mod that allows the game to run at a 16:9 aspect ratio.
• PeterDelta made a mod that allows the games to run at 50 FPS instead of 25.

What else can be done?

• Remastering the textures.
• Making scrapped content available.
• Creating mods.
• Quality of life improvements.
