Whether you’re going for a dip in the Natural Pools along the bluffs

Wait, ¿what? So we don't get to swim on lakes or the sea, ¿I guess it's just a new and "special" pool tool?

Yes. It was supposed to be an original base-game world, going by these old screens.

The world looks more like a coastal old century London town... This EP is more focused on dating than it is on Nightlife.

As soon as TS4 came out with Teens, YA, Adults and Elders almost the same, and without toddlers, with kids that serve no purpose... I knew everything aroud it is just going to be adult themed. And in a manner where everything boils down to date, drink, party and woohoo, with teenagers taking selfies and showing off their body to their friends... NO thanks!

It is possible that some of developers are going trough midlife crisis.

PS: So we are actually getting churches and beaches? CAW like tool might be on the horizon...

LMAO. Of all stuff I imagined I'd feel a little bit excited but really? What is this even about? More party stuff - just what the game needed. I'm so laughing cause it turned out to be a bro pack indeed.

And, yes, it says natural pools, not rivers, lakes or oceans. People at the official forum are already dissecting the video and believe to have seen pool borders with those lakes. Wouldn't surprise me if these natural pools are just a different kind of pool.

Hooray, a Jersey Shore EP! Wait, it looks vaguely English, so would it be Geordie Shore?

1/8/2016: New avatar! Pre-censored for EA's approval.
3/19/2015: Teens are too close to YAs. EA needs to either shorten the teens, or add preteens and make YAs look older.

How in the hell did they mess up a Dating/Clubbing EP? All of this feels so wrong together... Why is this not urban? I don't even want to update the list, it's so bad.

Edit: Will all EPs begin with 'Get To-'?

Edit 2: if this isn't urban, what EP will be? They missed the boat with businesses, and now dating/clubbing is here in a Tudor/Celtic world, which also begs the question of what they plan on doing with a fantasy world later. This world would have been PERFECT for a Seasons or Small town kind of pack.

Since beaches are, I guess, a thing, what are they doing with a tropical pack, since all of the spa retreat stuff is, now, in it's own pack?

Well, the swimming in the "pond" is not a pond, but a new pool tool:

Cheers to useless beaches because I'm 99.9% sure we won't have much if any (it'll be useless) beach decor.

Awww man, can't wait to hit all the hot night clubs and bars in that total party town.

Don't get me wrong, it looks really nice. I just think the new world should match the theme of the expansion pack. Sims 3 Pets had a rural farming town. Late Night was a city. The pack about resorts and holidays was a sun-bleached beach. Sims 2's Seasons was also a farming community. Half-arsed and bland Freetime had a half-arsed and bland world.

As someone who moved from a city with an entire district dedicated to bars, pubs and clubs to a small town I will bitterly tell you the rural places aren't know for their exciting nightlife.

I'm writing a TV series, yeah. It's a cross between True Detective and Pretty Little Liars.

The Sims 4 Get Together. Great... Yet another expansion pack that will be a failure, lack content and things to do, and contain crappy music. If it's anything like the trailer I'm going to die. Big Room is a genre that has to die, seriously. It's so uninspired and unoriginal.
This EP just screams hipster. I can't stand hipster stuff. And all the selfies and smartphones everywhere, oh god don't even start. This makes me realize how awful the current real life generation is, and how stupid the people are who make the design choices for The Sims 4. I'm going to assume they focus on multiple things at once and release a broken, failed, empty EP like GTW. Because that's how fucking stupid they are.

I like the world though. Reminds me of Veronaville. English Tudor is something I always liked. But why for this EP? Where's the downtown? Where's the highrises and concrete? This whole combination doesn't make sense! Goddamn it EA!

The Sims 4! Weirder Sims! Aren't they weird!? Look how weird they are! Bet you can't wait to see how weird their stories are!?

I just realized if this was part of a University Expansion, I would actually be in love with it. It's quite appropriate to a theme like that, HOWEVER, if it has apartments (me thinks not), it should be... okay?

Looks like the mobile (cell) phones are going to be designable now? The girl on the Trailer thumbnail is holding a blue spotty one, not the usual grey.

Actually it's an made-up name from german : windenbourg
Winden : winds
Burg / Bourg : village, small town
So that's the city of all wind. Village aux 4 vents. Mostly because of the mountains behind and thus makes it a town somewhere in Switzerland or Austria.

I do understand why you would want an urban setting for nightlife. But ( so-called ) jetset society in europe does go in such town only for partying ( gstadt, st-moritz, st-tropez, even tho st-tropez is nothing like winderbourg I agree ! ) and "get together"

As for the EP itself, I do agree : I've seen nothing that interrests me. Except the architectural part. But it's soooo expensive only for walls and roofs.

Like Inge says, let's wait for a complete inventory of the EP. Still, not impressed.

i made a sims world ... can you believe it ? Lost Cove

Will there be more than one neighborhood and 4 lots in the new world? Trying to see if it's worth creating a beach on limited real estate. EA/Maxis slays me.

I know, I shouldn't care... Not bothering with The Sims 4. But what in the world is this Expansion Pack even supposed to be? The world's theme is good, I'll give it that... But otherwise the EP seems very small and unfocused. It's like... "Oh joy DJ tables... Wait, didn't we already have that?" All of EA's repeat features that are supposed to hype people up all blur together to me now.

♫ Keeping this here until EA gives us a proper playable woodwind/brass instrument ♫

I was really hoping for something that was going to make me play ts4 again. Oh well.

imo this is way too watered down for an EP. It's a hodgepodge of things that doesn't seem like it has enough gameplay for the amount of money it's going to cost. My sims can already go to nightclubs and party and hang out with friends, that's kind of what this whole game has been centered around from the beginning.
