I wanted to make a building that is made of two 5x5 lots, but I can't construct walls and other things on the last two squares. &|

Is there anyway to turn this off, or avoiding it?

You can build walls that extend to the edge, but only ones that are perpendicular to the edge, not prarallel to it...

For foundations/pools: Try the Ctrl-drag-release and normal-click trick (same as for swimming pools):

Ctrl-click and drag the area for your foundations.
Release, and immediately click in the same spot(without CTRL)
I don't know if that can work for walls, but maybe?

try this cheat..... boolprop locktiles [true/false] According to snooty sims, this cheat will allow you to place floor tiles outside of lots. Maybe it will also work for walls. I don't have TS2 so I can't try it out myself.

I'm not sure but I think locktiles only applies to the roadside tiles (where they put your mailbox by default). And in moveobjects on mode they should already be unlocked by default.

Sorry by the delay but I haven't been able to connect the buildings together.
Because it's been a while (too much work) I'm asking if anyone knows a new cheat that may help me in this.

I'm looking for the same thing dude. I know its possible cuz I found this airport that this dude built on 2 lots and when you put them side by side the building is one huge building. It's unusable but it looks cool in the neighborhood view. Please let me know if anyone knows how to do this.

Maybe... ask the dude that did the airport.

No need to be rude, Mod. They might be here to learn about the game or whatnot. Maybe they can't afford the game. When I first came here, I didn't have the game either. Big whoop.

it seems the moveobjects cheat allows people to build on the road and its opposite but not adjacent sides.
