does anyone else remember some of the first mentions and screenshots of TS2? they showed a toddler hanging off of a ceiling fan. hmmm... wonder where it went? maybe the toddler broke the only one they had. darn destructive kids. :D

My results:

I got the lights, but not the blades. (Also the lights didn't come on when I clicked on them to turn them on, unless they were next to a wall. Which may be my display settings. Just passing it along in case anybody else has the same thing happen.)

I am still working on it, sorry. I have been trying to finish another project which will take quite a dam lot of hacking to make work. I will let everyone know if I manage to do it.

Thanks Sim Master 2. Well aquariumcleaner there were no complaints so far or problems. Sorry about that. I don't know what went wrong with your fan. Maybe try deleting the file in the Downloads folder and download the fan again and then put it in. To like refresh or something.Hope that works. Thankyou everyone for your wonderful replies.

You use WinRAR to uncompress the files into your My Docs/Ea Games/Sims 2/Downloads
Mesh is the basic form of the new object, think wire-frame, which a texture is then placed over making the object complete
EP ready means it cause no problems when used with University installed

just to add to the mesh question because i am a termenolegy junky. am mesh is the basis in which we see 3d models. this is the only way to use the x,y and z axes at the same time. another way of seeing this is to emagin our body with out skin and muscle.

Useruser, you're right. if you scroll in too far they become invisible so you don't keep clicking on the fan instead of something below it.
