if the constants file (BCON) is identical in both packages there is no need to edit or delete anything.
If there are differences you either choose which will get priority (will load later) or you need to make an edit to accumulate necessary values from both. Preferrably by creating another, overwritting this particular BCON package loaded after both. Better practice, especially in the long run - you know what you edited and are able to easily control the versions, instead messing around with existing packages.
The sole existence of 'conflict' means that the packages are overwritting the same resources. If it is really "the conflict" depends what is in these particular resources.
