This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default DirectX 9 Issue with Chris Hatch's Angels & Nurses
I am trying to install Chris Hatch's Angels & Nurses stuff to my game (Sims 2 Ultimate Collection on Origin). I am pretty sure I have followed every step correctly. When I try to run my game, I get a message that says "Failed to enumerate any Direct X 9 compatible graphics adapters in the system! Please make sure you have installed the latest manufacturer provided driver." I do not have this issue when I play the game normally. I do not know anything about computers, especially this one as I had just bought it (Lenovo Ideapad 3, Windows 10 64bit, 8GB RAM). I looked up what directx I have and it's Directx 12. Does this mean that my computer is too new to run this unofficial stuff pack, or is there a way I can still play it?
