I am not too happy with Best Buy. I preordered my copy a couple months ago, paying extra for 2nd-day air, and now I find out it's not going to arrive until the fifth. On the order page, they listed the ship date as Feb. 28th, but they shipped mine on the first, spent two days in transit, and now I have to wait until Monday, since UPS doesn't deliver on weekends. Isn't second-day suppost to mean it arrives on the actual second day of shipping? Besides that, they state that if you choose an expidited shipping option on preorders, they'll get it to you on or by the release date, which was two days ago. I normally order through EB Games, but they didn't have the preorder gift I wanted. Now I've learned my lesson and will stick with them from now on.

Speaking of the preorder bonuses, does anyone know how Best Buy sends out their codes? I haven't gotten an email, so I'm hoping they send a slip or something in with the game.

Anyway, I just thought I'd start this thread to give the poor saps like me who haven't gotten the game yet a place to vent or share their agony. :p

Oh, geez, Purplepaws! If I were you I would go to walmart and buy a copy right now, then when the one from BB came in, I would return it to their store with a huge complaint to the manager!

I preordered from EA and recieved my copy on the 28th with free shipping. I suggest this for your next order. Plus, shhhh... the preorder objects can usually be found elsewhere... so I don't let that effect who I order from.

I orderd from EA too, and get it very fast as well.

I ordered mine from EA but I still haven't recieved it and I ordered a copy of the base game from Best Buy (I had been borrowing a copy) and Best Buy still hasn't even shipped the game yet and I ordered it nearly a week ago! As far as not getting my game yet from EA I think its because we had a huge snowstorm this last week and lots of places were closed down (no school for 3 days in a row!)

Well, I've waited this long; I think I can make it a couple more days. However, they will be getting a complaint email from me asking them to refund the difference.

You're not alone. Best Buy seems to be screwing everyone over with their Seasons preorder. I preordered from them paid for the fastest shipping available and expected to find that it was out for delivery Wednesday only to find that it was backordered. Not long after reading that they send me a survey about how well my order went which infuriated me even more. I ended up just going out to Game Stop, spent a minute and a half in the store and walked out game in hand. I come home to cancel my Best Buy order and find an email saying that the game had shipped and would arrive Thursday. Now if they meant awaiting shipping they should have said awaiting shipping and not back ordered. So now I have two copies of the game one of which is going back to Best Buy along with a very unpleasant survey about my order. Not only that but they've got 3 $42 charges on my credit card which is tying up over $100 for a $42 order. I'll never preorder anything from Best Buy again. I'll stick with EB at least I know that if I pay for next day shipping the game will arrive by 3pm at the latest on the release date not whenever they decide to ship it. That swingset wasn't worth all this hassle. :banghead:

The code for the bonus items is on a little sticker on the front of the box. Or at least that's where it was on mine.

Not really preordering, but on this site that specialises in games, they said it'll be in on the 1st. Then I checked the night before the 1st and they had changed it to the 8th! And this goes for all places, even one has it on the 16th! -.-

I pre-ordered from amazon and got it today. They said delivery date was the 7th!!

I preordered from Best Buy as well. I don't have mine yet either. According to the tracking # through UPS they gave me, it is currently in the UPS processing facility. Apparently it goes from warehouse, to processing facility, to post office, to me. So, it has one more place to go before it even gets to me. I think probably tuesday for me. And I'm tired of being patient...but I really really hate to deal with returns...so I will just grimace and bear it.
