Thanks, i always get pissed off when i see a nice-looking bed, only to realize the ugly bed i'm sleeping in right now is more comfortable! :D

Being as it modifies the actual bed XMLs, I don't think so. The custom bed maker will have to make a version compliant with this mod (daydreaming and proper energy/comfort)

3/19/2015: Teens are too close to YAs. EA needs to either shorten the teens, or add preteens and make YAs look older.

I often hated to buy a pretty bed simply because it only had +1 on it! I thought that was so bogus anyhow. Too bad the beds couldn't be tinkered with!!!

It depends on what kind of "custom bed" you're talking about. The Mission Bed default replacement mod which is here on MTS on the front page, I consider to be a custom bed, it is CC. It will work fine with my mod because it replaces the Image files only on the original beds, otherwise it is using the EA files for this bed.

I would think it's possible with the couches and chairs but I haven't investigated, they don't interest me much. What's wrong with the couches and chairs exactly? I've never really noticed if they have any of these stats on them, but if it's comfort that they give, what difference does it make? I don't manage to see "comfort" on my sim; if he's gaining some comfort back or not, I can't see it anywhere.

I was only using one particular bed when I decorated my homes, not many choices when they mark over half the available beds as "uncomfortable". Thanks so much Shimrod - this mod was just what I needed!

Ah well since sims get uncomfortable from low quality chair i thought it was the same thing. If they sit on it for some time writing for instance.
It's not too bothersome but wondered if it worked the same as the beds
