Default King and Queen legacy!
This is a funny legacy for more than 8 sims, with upstairs/ downstairs theme.
It can be situated in any pre-modern time, mybe in 1800 or medival, there is downloadable stuff for that.
Its based around a royal family that have servants, with different cores in the household.

Start
You need a big house, preferrably furnished to get an easier start.
Next to the kitchen is a big garden, with all sorts of herbs and foods.
Behind the garden is a cottage for the groundkeeper, with a small personal garden.
You can spend as much money you want, but as the game starts you may only get money naturally in game.

This is preffered:
1 big room for children with a big bathroom
1 small room close for maid
2 teenage rooms a boy and girl room
1 masterbedroom, with a bathroom
1 room for guvernant
1 room for butler close to the king
1 toilet with shower for servants
1 artroom with music, arts and books
King have a seperate planning room with a single bed that only he and butler/advisor have access to.
Entrance floor: Big hall, dining room and sideroom with chess and books, staircase.
Kitchen with servant bedroom and wc
4 horses, 4 stables, racing/jumping area in backyard.
2 dogs, dog stuff outside, but they are allowed in bottom floor, exept kitchen.
Playground in backyard with all possible outdorstuff. Outdoor shower/s and outhouse/s somewhere.

The royal family
King is Adult, with genious, charismatic.
Queen is Adult, family-oriented, friendly, diva if you have.
Their oldest son (if he gets good traits) will be a knight and stay in the house as YA he must have brave. No unchivalrous traits (eg kleptomaniac, daredevil) he will figt off any burglars or enemies.
If he marries when the elders are still alive he get a separate area, attic? Own house?
No special roles as to who will inherit the legacy, if someone else does, he/she must have done something extraordinary good. You can start with a son and daughter to make it quicker.

The staff
The staff is divided into 2 groups.
- Kitchen, cleaning, repairing and animal care:
In the kitchen is 2 sims, they can be married and have children. One is cook with natural cook and the other is the maid, who serves at the table. She must have neat, green thumb.
She is allowed in the dining room, but not the cook and their children. She cleans after dinner in the big hall, not allowed elsewhere. Then she goes out in the garden and her day is full, she provides for the cook.
If you put a fence around the garden with a lock, noone else comes in. They pretty much go by themselves.
In the yard is the cottage with an own family.
The man has handy, animal lover and gatherer. He is a repairman for the whole house, (that way he can go everywhere) and in the grounds he sees after animals and collects what he sees nearby.
The woman is neat, nurturing. She cleans the whole house (that way she can go everywhere), and takes care of the servant children when she has time, she sees the shine of what the other children gets and help them.
The children may go to shool, but they wont get any sertain help. They help the adults, or play with the other children if they are invited. But they cant go inside.
- Taking care of the royal children, and helping king and queen with clothing and planning:
The butler. (Playable) This butler is waiting in the corner, but also helps K with planning and dressing. He can be a cupbearer. He is loner dislikes children.
The guvernant. She tutors R children and teens in homework and skills. She is bookworm, snob.
The maid. She primary helps Q with dressing, accompany at the arts, and socialize. Secondary she helps her children with clothing and nurturing. she is nurturing, artistic, virtuoso.
Some of theese can be married if you wish and get children. Then you can remove dislikes children and add familyoriented.

The going
You can choose traits and other things to make a realistic and smooth story exept for the nessesary.
To make it smooth w so many sims, lock doors were they musnt go and they will naturally do their things by themselves. That way you dont have to control each sim continuiusly.
Its ok if a S get a child outside of marriage, but the servant will be moved out immediately. If she is married noone will know... but they must not be stumbled upon ofc.
Let the game go only interact were you need too, so many sims is best to let them do their duties alone. Just check on them once in a while.
To make it more hard you can click on adults to make homework with a child to make them do it.
There can be as many animals as your mod allows, 1 horse for each royal old enough is good as preferred vehicle...
Bikes is ok also no supernaturals, (if you arent making it into a fantasy challenge).

Goal
Try to get as many children as possible, you will be rewarded for each skillpoint they get before YA.
It will be more difficult to get skillpoints for S children, since they cant go to the R areas.
They can join in outdoor activities if they are invited by R children, you musnt click on R to invite them,
must stop them from going there without R being there first.
They are not allowed in other lots, only school.
Adults can go in the world. Its recommended that S shop groceries, and Q go for massage etc.
R childen must get honor roll/ A in scool before aging up.
S childen gets help w homework when adults have time, they can help with cores in the own household to make it faster.
1 point for each skillpoint they learn.
10 point for each child moving out at YA.
20 point for each child that gets a role in the household.
-5 for each embarrasing interraction, ((traits are important here ))when a S ends up in a fight with a R.)
-15 for each employee from outside of the household. (sometimes its necessary, and fun.)

Custom content
Here is Jane Austen time clothes, its a good time to choose: http://www.thesimsresource.com/arti.../skipsetitems/1
Its the Regency clothes with different sets for teen, older and YA/A. Sorry there is no male clothes.
This dress recoloured brownish is nice for a servant girl http://www.thesimsresource.com/them...-13/id/1228687/

Bathtub and sink old style: http://www.thesimsresource.com/them...oom/id/1038874/
Kitchen old style: http://www.thesimsresource.com/them...hen/id/1040692/

Here is a link to a download that would fit (not exact my description, but cant be picky): http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=519212 Here are 42 rooms in main building, can add other lots for NPC:s. Just change some of the rooms simply switch the position, put in family inventory and copy floors and such. (Dont move walls unless you have to.) Since its 4 lots you can have more animals, horses for traveling. Remove all computors and cars etc, put in old stuff. "Groundkeepers apartment" can be changed into: take away bathroom, add a childrens room, add outdoor shower and outhouse into the garage and 2 stables. The other apartments can be made into 1 for the knight. Remove extra kitchen and far away dining room, remove staircase down to groundkeepers. Here you can have S in each lot, for repairing, animals, cleaning and garden. :lovestruc

It's not really a challenge "by the book" but it's pretty neat and well thought. I might try it
