Back in University, I had a beautiful Giant African Land Snail named Oddball.
Sadly after I graduated I moved to a new house, which proved to be too cold for her and she passed away at about 18 months old
My ex-fiance still has her shell on his bookcase. It's about the size of my fist, and amazingly beautiful.

I once was responsible for a loach as part of an exercise in preparation for office life. (I felt it was an exercise in sadism for me and the loach.) It was weird, but as for aquatic life, it was like a fish and some ways not.

I also cared for triops but we as office workers in training with low morale ended up having to flush their bodies into the sewer and our morale dropped.
