Default WCIF sectional dining chairs/booths
Please tell me someone, EA or a CC creator, has created a sectional dining chair or booth like in Sims 2? If so, I can’t find them anywhere. Am I just looking in the wrong spots, or do they truly not exist? I’d like to create booth seating for a community lot restaurant, and/or a little breakfast nook with an L-shaped chair/bench on a residential lot.

Sandy at ATS3 did some. They are a bit odd when sims get in and out of them, because proper sliding across a bench/booth seat doesn't work on dining chairs.

Sorry, I thought I was being specific enough when I mentioned I was looking for sectional dining chairs. There are a few EA sectional living room chairs in TS3, plus CC. If I recall correctly, TS2 seemed to have a few dining sectionals between EA and CC. And it appears TS4 has some options as well. I wonder what was so hard about animations or coding that they didn’t appear from EA in TS3.

Yes, Late Night came with 2 sectionals (one that glows and one that's plain), and I THINK Showtime had another one? I definitely know Aurora Skies/Daycare Venue has a sectional (the corner seat has a cute throw cushion).

I've looked forever for booth type dining and the one from ATS3 is the only one that works with a table, that I've found. And yes, the animations are wonky because the sim will push the object in and out like a regular chair.
The one I'm talking about is located here - https://aroundthesims3.com/objects/...wntown_07.shtml

Sandy has an orange one too for a diner (the one MurderPrincessK linked to), and shows them next to one another to form a continuous bench. She also has an aqua and white one that I have, but they don’t form a continuous bench - there’s a space between each chair. Do you know if these burgundy tufted ones touch, or is there a space?

They do indeed combine. But you need to make space behind them for the sims to push them out to sit on. If not, you will get a foot stomp!

Thanks for that extra bit of information. No offense to Sandy or any of the awesome creators out there, but what’s the point if I can’t use them for anything other than deco really? EA, as usual, is to blame for this. I’ll have to come up with a different idea for diners and breakfast nooks. I wanted them back to back, or up against a wall. Apparently that won’t work.

Well, Simcredible has a booth that is cloned from a picnic table. I can't remember how the animations looked but I remember that the back of the object just isn't high enough and sims just look "perched" on it. Check the comments on eating - https://www.thesimsresource.com/dow...oth/id/1241904/

This set is cute but I don't remember how it works. I suppose if it worked as I wanted I'd still have it in my game. I just know you have to have "chairs" to work at a table and the "loveseat" will just be the deco part. https://www.thesimsresource.com/dow...ing/id/1206360/

Another cute idea but it's a loveseat so for looks only. Of course sims can sit on the opposite side with the dining chairs. https://modthesims.info/d/418069/ho...s-cushions.html

Don't know if something like this would work - I'm imagining adding walls or half walls at the back to make it appear to be a booth. If I recall, sims slide onto the picnic table - they don't have to pull anything out to sit on. https://www.thesimsresource.com/dow...ble/id/1242542/

Scroll down a bit here - http://veryberrysims3.web.fc2.com/tuscanmansion5.html - for another really cute nook idea.
