Default Can the game finally detect courtyards?
I don't own Sims 3 yet, but I'm ultra-curious about it. One thing I really want to know...can the game designate between indoors and courtyards(areas that are outdoors, but surrounded by walls)?

The Sims 2 was supposed to get this functionality but never did.

Yes, it does. If the courtyard has no roof, it's designated as being outside.

FINALLY. Finally finally! That's so awesome to hear. Does that mean that closed off rooms have light in them? Unlike Sims 2 where they magically auto-darkened even with no roof, floor above, or cieling.

That's so awesome ;-; That makes building, like, 900295830958% more intuitive

Yup, they all have light, but shadowing and everything still apply.
