Default I'm unable to get homework to spawn on the Simlogical Classroom Place.
I placed the Classroom Place on a table but I couldn't get homework to spawn on it. I can't even click on it.

I got the classroom controller. I got the homework to spawn a couple times but I don't know how to make it spawn at any time.

I use the Homework Place instead. It gives me much less trouble, both with spawning the work and getting the kids to do it. Just a suggestion.
