This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default H&M stuff pack (and Ultimate Collection)
Hola,
So I took TS3 off my laptop and have started playing TS2...
I installed the "Double Deluxe" DVD (DVD 'cause there's only 1 disc, right?), and the "H&M fashion stuff pack"...

Read that Double Deluxe doesn't need a patch, and then checked on the simswiki and simsVIP to see if there is a patch for the H&M stuff but there isn't. Was there ever a patch for H&M? If so, anyone know where I can find it?

Any other sites I should keep in mind for patching (in case I get other TS2 games)?

Just want to make sure...

No patch need for your setup. The word patch will take you to MTS up to date set of patches. or http://simswiki.info/wiki.php?title...elp:TS2_Patches

If I was you I would get the new "The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection" through EA support its free. http://help.ea.com/en/article/the-s...collection-faq/
Scroll down to the bottom and click on the button that says "Contact Us" and ask them for the Ultimate Collection.

Thanks for the reply, and yup the patches on the link you provided were the ones I was referring to when I mentioned the simswiki

You got me excited about the "ultimate collection", unfortunately, I don't qualify for the free copy as I am the owner of a "physical disc version" (their wording, not mine). I purchased my games at a second-hand bookstore, so they're not "digital version[s] of The Sims 2 from Origin or The EA Store"...*boo*

Thanks again.

You can still get it. Contact them the way marka told you to and also tell them that you'd like to register your Sims 2 game.

Hard disk copies are not exempt, you might need to wait awhile for a rep on online chat and be prepared with a picture of your cover and a code which they will get you to attach. After I had showed him that, he sent me a code for the digital Double deluxe which showed up on my origin dashboard. You do have to sign up at Origin to do that of course.

Default Got my code =)
Woo Hoo!!! Just got off the phone with an EA advisor and I got the Ultimate Collection.

I ended up using the "call back" option because the online-chat option was not working for me. The advisor told me that they've been having problems with on-line chat (etceteras) because of tsunami's where their centers are located (I'm assuming that means a lot of the tech help has been outsourced abroad). They're also trying to resolve problems with users not being able to use on-line services. The advisor also mentioned that there's some funkiness going on with origin as some of the advisors haven't been able to access their origin accounts as well.

Use the link marka93 provided above and start a case on your EA/origin account, that way you can attach your pics to the “conversation”. When the advisor calls you, he/she will already have the pics on their screen and they’ll hopefully give you your code.

Hope this helps if you've been trying to get in contact with them.

Thanks again marka93, mustluvcatz, and joandsarah77 =)
