well, I'm glad it doesn't always do that weird thing, at least.
maybe the dragondesk conflicts with another object in those houses? possibly one of mine
one that's in not in the two that work fine.
I'm still looking, anyway

Da da da da da dun duh da dun da duh . . .

Okay that's me singing the Harry Potter theme. I especially like the quivel and ink, the skull on the pile of books, and the jars on the shelf. Really nice touch. Very awesome work. Thanks.

harpy, the skull isn't mine
it's Gromit's. I just thought it would look, well, appropriate
It's on this site. Try Gromit's profile for more amazing stuff.

Just wanted to say I LOVE your creations! Yours are the ones I treat the most among tons of other downloads. (um... I feel my English got really *complicated* here  ) There are downloads that seems nice to me, and then there are downloads that make me really excited - and your creations are always among them

Default thanks for still looking
Hi again Lethe_s, thanks for such a quick response, but you can stop looking for the problem. I still don't know the cause, but it is o.k. I just wanted to also let you know my sim kids love your spell book, ie podium. They always want to " play with it". They even fight to get at it first. I thought it was funny. Thanks for all your trouble, and I'm looking forward to your next creations. Thanks, silber27

Yeah, well, the skull is still a really nice touch anyway. You knew where it needed to be. Encore! (more, more, more)!

No pressure or anything, of course.

sawlonewolf,
do you have the latest CEP installed?
if not, get it here: http://sims.ambertation.de/index.shtml,
you only need the Colour Options Enabler in additional downloads, not all the rest

I have one question:

I have yet to find and use the stand with the book; could you verify where I could find it?

:D

emiejemy,
isn't it in Hobbies/All (the 'eternal' symbol, flat eight)?
cuz that's where it should be

if you browse by room, it's in 'Study'

btw, is that Alan Rickman in your avy?
*mmmmm, Alan Rickman*

the spellbook replaces that career reward.. any chance you could separate the spellbook from the micstand, so that the micstand is still, as it used to be, a career reward?

Mitholas,
it shouldn't replace the career reward...
at least, it doesn't with me
It has it's own GUID, which makes it a new object.

really?
that's... odd
how does it replace it? in the reward catalog? or if you have the stand in a house, does it change into the medieval one?
and do you still find it in the buy catalog?
I'll have to look into this, but since it doesn't do that with me, I'll need all the info I can get
