Default Bodyshop using small image sizes
So I wanted to create some maxis match eyes in different colours. However it seems like bodyshop only works with 256x256 while the default maxis eyes are all 512x512 (I extracted them with SimPE).

These are maxis default eyes in bodyshop vs the same eyes as a project (that hasnt been edited) The 256x256 look so washed out.

Bodyshop wont allow me to edit the image size, so I tried manually doing it in SimPE, but it seems to corrupt the texture file after saving and reloading it.

It should be possible to make a 512x512 eye texture, right?

Bodyshop is outputting too smll texture sizes. You need to fix your Bodyshop settings in the GraphicRules file.

The top one has pictures, the bottom one has some extra useful info:

For the SimPE issue, use PNG files (transparent everywhere but the eye texture) and make sure to install the Nvidia DDS plugin so you can use DXT texturing. Use DXT3 or DXT5 with "Sharpening" as "none". Don't do "update all sizes, the DXT texturing does this for you. You can also use DDS files and a few other options, but PNGs are easier.
