This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3, World Adventures, Generations, Pets, Showtime, Seasons, University Life, Island Paradise, Into the Future
Default Cat always needing to scratch
Sending him to the cat tree or scratching post doesn't do much. It's supposed to be that the cat will scratch at the surface until the need is met, but I have to keep sending him back like eight times to fill the need, which takes up a LOT of time. What happened and how can I fix this?

He also seems to be constantly under the effects of catnip, and I don't think I have anything in the house that would do that.

What are the cats traits? Is it Destructive?

Pet will prefer to scratch and chew on furniture.
