This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default "Water error" in own neighborhood
Hi, I apologize in advance for the bad English.

There was probably a graphics error in my game. After moving the house with the cellar, the water remained in its original place.
It has happened a few times already, but it has always disappeared on its own, except for one case, and now I always have a "lake" in the neighborhood: /

Does anyone know what to do with it? If there's anything you can do about it.

Thank you

The water issue - could it be this? https://modthesims.info/wiki.php?ti...ter_in_Basement
You could try putting an empty lot onto the waterlogged one (a bigger one if need be), rising up the terrain a bit, and see if that helps.

And since it's in the picture - the "hay" grass and single-colored water in the neighborhood screen suggests your graphics card/chip isn't being read properly by the game (settings will be at the lowest if the attributes of the graphic device aren't properly detected). If you want to fix it, you need to edit the GraphicRules and VideoCards files - you can do so manually, but the easiest is to use the graphic rules maker, here: https://www.simsnetwork.com/tools/graphics-rules-maker

Thank you very much for your help I should have downloaded the creator of the graphic rules but I couldn't handle it and I always blocked the game everything worked out with the instructions from you and the graphics are much better .. my sims are excited :D
but the lake remains .. I'm adding more photos .. it's probably unsolvable if I don't want to delete everything and move the population to another neighborhood with difficulty
in any case, thank you very much for the information and advice provided

The sandy "beach" terrain (wasn't visible with the lower graphics) suggests the game might view the area as beach/sea, because it's probably sitting at a lower height than the rest of the neighborhood.

Another thing you can try before giving it up is to rise up the terrain in that area of the neighborhood. It's possible it doesn't work if there's a lot there, though. You may want to do a backup of your saved game first, just in case you don't like the result.

Quote:
modifyNeighborhoodTerrain [on/off]

This allows you to alter the neighborhood terrain by raising or lowering it. To use this cheat, be in the neighborhood view, then enter the cheat "modifyNeighborhoodTerrain on" (without the quotation marks), and click over the area you would like to change. To select a larger area, click and drag the cursor to highlight the desired area. Press [ or ] to raise or lower the terrain by one click, press \ to level the terrain, and press P to flatten terrain. When you're finished, type “modifyNeighborhoodTerrain off” in the cheat box (again, without the quotations).

Happy to help, and glad you got it fixed. It's not fun to have to throw away a neighborhood when it can be fixed.

Exactly, how many times in the game did something wrong and then sought help in every possible way and it was always possible to solve it, so I thought that this would be possible ... but I did not expect that help would come so fast
