This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default how do i move my sims' graves if they are in an uninhabited house?
you see, I have only been playing sims 2 for a short time and some things are not very clear to me.

I had 2 elderly sims who died in a house, unfortunately my sims lived alone and died at the same time of old age.
i have no idea how to move their graves to a cemetery if nobody lives there. i also don't have the courage to move sims in that house because when i move sims to houses that were inhabited before the furniture is removed and i don't even know if that's normal, i don't know if the game will detect their graves as furniture and remove them.

does anyone have an idea of what I can do to have their graves safe, I don't want to leave the house uninhabited forever and I would love to have their graves in the cemetery because I play several generations.

Get the "Stay-Thing Shrub" then place one on the lot in buiild mode then move a sim there. http://www.simlogical.com/sl/Sims2P...2_MiscHacks.htm

Also get the "nounlinkondelete" mod http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/s...hp?topic=2083.0
This will make sure even if deleted the NPC will not be deleted and keeps your game from corruption because of deleted stones.

If you have not gotten all the "Essential Mods" yet I would go get them here: https://modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=532696

The shrub placed in build mode won't work it requires an alive sim to click on it and select 'things stay on move out'. But yes do download it and do place it on every lot. I've done this for years.

So long as you have No Unlink on delete I would simply move a sim in, click on the graves and tell the game where to move them.

The furniture in the other houses disappeared after you moved all the sims out and the house was empty- This is how the game attempts to clean the house -poorly. This house is not empty
Dead sims are still sims just that they have changed form, now they are attached to an urn or a grave. Like alive sims you do not want to delete them (sweep up ash and toss in the bin) Nor do you want to move the house into the occupied house bin- Same if sims are alive or 'dead.' The sims living there have simply changed form, but they are still there. This is why you can resurrect 'dead' sims.
