This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Apartment Life
Default How to be good at building?
I'm playing this game since the age of 10 and I still can't go beyond the houses with square walls and furniture placed in the corners.

What are your tips for being more creative when building a house?

I mostly observed the tutorials online, watched a bunch of YouTube videos and built a bunch of houses. I don't always make non-square houses though - sometimes I just don't have the inspiration, but have to make a house for my Sims, so they're stuck with what gets them.
