Default Dreams De Mi Abuelita (first spoken word)
This is old. Wrote this a while back, after my grandmother had passed. But i still love it.

My Abuelita Bonita.
Nobody sweeter.
Turkeyshoot Elisa and
I was her little chicitita.
"Jacquelina gasolina, cuerpo como limosina!"
Sweet smells of her cocina
stay in my memories
and dreams of Navidad
with Abuela's gorgeous trees...
Nights con abuela, in our pajamas
watchin' todo los tele-novelas.
Flea Market trips and Jumbo Jacks...
all the times I needed her, she had my back.
Sweet talks and giggles,
to Mariachis we'd wiggle,
Saying, "C'mon, Mija, do the Waching Macheen!"
for Abuela, I'd do anything.
My angel, my mentor, my shoulder to lean
Just to have even one day with her again
I'd do any and everything...
But I can't. So till then, I dream a memory.
