elise: Have you tried all the zoom levels? Sometimes on far out zooms the bars seem to disappear, because of the way TS2 deals with transparency. If that's not the case, email me with a picture and the specs of your machine and I'll see if I can figure out the problem.

Bexxie: Just the ones in the recolour pack at the moment. It's free for people to recolour though, so if you'd like a particular design you're welcome to have a go!. :D

TehknicolorPanda: That's a combination of how I meshed it and how TS2 renders transparent surfaces... But it looks a lot worse there than I've seen anywhere else. What sort of graphics support do you have? Are you running on "low detail" by any chance?

I'm running everything on medium except for detail, which is on high. My graphics card is a Ati Radeon 9700/9500.

At first I thought it may be because I had reflections off, but I guess not, it looks the same with it on.

It doesn't bother me too much, I would like to see it the way it was meant to be seen, but it's fine like this. I think someone will come out with a new mesh for it soon anyway, I can wait. Thanks for this though, it's great. :]

I also have the no bars on the second recolor problem. I love it though!

moonluck: The wooden one is more likely to have the recolour problem because the transparency is more significant in the colours.

I assume from these posts that the bars are just texture pasted on flat surface. But wouldn't it be better to model each individual bar? This way you can avoid such problems.

Just a suggestion though, and it can be a bitch (I know it is, mainly with texturing, I had this problem with my N-Logo).

Gary: Absolutely yes, that would fix it. And depending on how you decided to model it, it could well be better. Unfortunately, I am a very poor mesher. Most of the time I just build my object with no mesh at all, then when it works I make some generic sort of mesh to make the object complete. I'm always on the lookout for people who want to collaborate on meshes, or who want to remesh objects with my code!

The reason I originally went for a single plane was because I was trying to create a wirey-mesh effect. Unfortunately, the problem that occurs with the current texture was even more significant with the thin lines in the mesh, so I made textures with bars instead. I didn't realize that lower graphics support meant increased transparency issues.
