I absolutely love Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim. I have the legendary version, and I have downloaded all three add-ons, but I never beat the game. I prefer to just wander all over the map and discover new places and stuff.

EDIT: I beat Skyrim once, and now I'm playing it again. With more exploring.

The Wii U Games Super Mario 3D World and Sonic Lost World.

Have not got my hands on a Wii U, but the gameplay footage is enough to want me have it.

Sonic Lost World and Super Mario 3D World employ what physicists call "gravity wells". I read up on it while studying M.C. Escher's "Relativity" and the principles in the surrealist picture.

Simply put, Mario and the gang and Sonic can defy the basic gravitational pull we're accustomed to in our world, by thrusting with jumps and pounces onto walls and ceilings. However, the gravity is weak enough to be spiked by a Piranha Plant or a Spike Strip

I'm obsessed with Guild Wars 2. It's an amazing MMO with a great community. It's not like other MMO's where you feel like you have to rush to level up and get good gears or be the best, etc. It's pretty casual while still having a lot to do. The players are pretty great as well, a lot will help you out and even guide you through areas that you're not familiar with. One player spent an hour and a half guiding me through the Obsidian Sanctuary jump puzzle without even so much as a complaint. There's no kill stealing so the team work aspect of the game is really awesome and more approachable than you would find in other games. In other MMO's, it feels like you're interfering rather than helping.

It also doesn't require a lot of your time for playing because as I've said above, there's no rush. You can take your sweet time and just go about your business at your own pace. You also don't need to spend tons of cash in order to get anything good, it's not a cash shop game. There are some things in the shop that are worth buying, sure, but they're not necessary to your character or gears. You can level up and get good gears without spending any money.

I love it. And it's so pretty too.

Besides Sims 4. Le's see...
Skyrim - I just started playing it with mods and it adds so much to the game and the Fable Anniversary edition is awesome too.

I play SWTOR quite a bit. I've also got Oblivion and Skyrim, still never finished either one, but they are all right. Um, let's see, I bought Elder Scrolls Online too, but my sub expired. It too is just all right.

I'm trying to avoid replaying Dragon Age:Origins and Dragon Age 2 a ridiculous amount of times before my most anticipated game of all time, Dragon Age:Inquisition, comes out in November!

I also have BioShock, Uncharted, and the Last of Us sitting around waiting to be played someday. I have Dead Space too, and I really want to finish it someday, but it gives me terrible motion sickness.

Was looking forward to starting Fantasy Life (3DS) then Amazon has cheek to say that was problem with the delivery and that it'll be delivered on Monday instead. Yeah, thanks... So I went ahead and bought Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call on 3DS (digital) when I was picking up Phoenix Wright Dual Destination (as that was on sale). Looking forward to play something other than The Sims 4!

Also playing Mario Kart 8 (Wii U) off & on, and I typically play Smash 3DS demo on toilet breaks.

Currently Playing:Last of Us Remastered, Final Fantasy XIV, Rare Replay - Blast Corps, The Sims 2, 3, 4

I have just bought The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, and so far... wow. I'm loving it.

It's... something like supernatural (and somewhat gory) version of Dear Esther. There is a sense of... calmness about the game, but at the same time, the feeling of tension, like... something is not right, and it might not be the best idea to stick around.
Plus, it's impossibly pretty. Some screens from the first few minutes:

"A man may fight for many things: his country, his principles, his friends, the glistening tear on a cheek of a golden child... But personally I would mud-wrestle my own mother for a ton of cash, an amusing clock and a sack of French porn."

OK, Sorry for necromancy and double post but...

I just bought a game on steam, and I thought I should mention it here, because it's... well... cute. I know, I know... Real manly men can't say "cute". Well, actually we can, but only if we do so with John Wayne facial expression. And if we do so while chewing a gum, we get extra points in manliness. I don't have any gum, but I did the face, so at least I'm not loosing any real manly men manliness points. But back to the topic:

Never Alone - Kisima Ingitchuna
It's a platformer, basically. There are 2 characters (a girl and a fox) and you control both interchangeably, you can swap them at any moment. There is a coop but you need a controller for that (I only have board of keys). What the game has that sets it above others, is its atmosphere. That is just great. The game is based on Alaska folklore, better still... the narrator speaks the native language! Adds greatly to the "feel" of the game. Very nice visuals, phenomenal animation, nice music and "documentary" bits are a really nice touch. As for not nice things: controls are not customizable, though it didn't give me any problems. I would imagine the game is rather short, but for its price (less than 11 British Squids) I say: GET IT!

EDIT: Regarding necro and double post: Why the potato no-one writes here? GET TO WORK!

I've been treating my phone like it was a game for the last several months, what with all the phone icon widget themes I've been buying lately, I most of spent a hundred or more on those themes, when I could of been making payments towards a new PC.

This is what made me come to the decision to get a new gaming PC in the next two weeks or so.

I hope to be obsessed with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim again like I was last December.

I'm buying a USB xbox 360 controller for Windows next week in preparation for my new PC I'll be getting in two weeks or so, owe and a comfortable office chair for long hours of game playing.

This will sound strange, but I'm so involved with The Walking Dead to the point where I can't play it. There's no telling what direction the writers are going so there is often a wrong choice on my part and some character gets killed or I do something that gets remembered unfavorably. Therefore it's a task of rewinding and replaying just to get the results I want. Because of all the replaying it makes me sick to know that I'm probably going to be doing it all again in the next chapter.

South Park: The Stick of Truth.

Okay, so I was originally planning to dedicate a few hours to simming this weekend, finish & upload a few projects that I've been working on, but you know what, my projects can go to hell! I'm not even a big fan of South Park, but this game has me hooked like only Skyrim has before.

It feels pretty much like an interactive South Park movie has everything you could expect: Nazi zombie fetuses, fart jokes, aliens & anal probing, Jesus with a machine gun and more. Yes, it is the most politically incorrect game I've ever played. Gosh, you can even choose to play as a Jew and unleash the Plagues of Egypt on your enemies. Turn-based RPGs can be quite boring, but the guns and powers are so hilarious they make the fight system really enjoyable.

Spoiler: Kenny dies. A lot.

I was obsessed with the new Sim City for a bit till I downloaded Dragon Age: Origins when Origin had it on the house. I realized it was a ploy for the upcoming release of Inquisitions but I downloaded it anyway. I don't have the attention span for RPGs in general, but then again my prior experience with them has been 2D. I can play DAO for hours.
