okay, so i literally never used any forums before, so if i suck at this, im sorry.

my problem is: i have a hungarian keyboard, where the key to the left of the 1 key is a 0 key, and it messes up time controls in the sims 2, since it's made for the us keyboard.
when i press the key that 0 got swapped with, the game pauses, like it should.
(this is not a problem in ts3 and ts4, the devs fixed this by then.)
is there a way to mod custom hotkeys/keyboard shortcuts/whatever into the game, so i don't have to mess with keyboard layouts and external software?
(i would also like to make a hotkey for some cheats, but that's much less important)

For some of the functions there are multiple keys that do the same (like ASDW and the arrow keys). You should be able to pause the game with P.

yeah, i know, just using 0 would be more convenient.

more specifically, i'm using the hungarian keyboard (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:KB_Hungary.svg) and the ö key pauses.
im really used to using the 0 key to pause bc its like that in ts3 and ts4
