This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Seasons
Default Bad gosub tree number
So, I get that it’s some custom content or other that is causing this error. Upon entering a community lot (by taxi or personal vehicle, makes no difference), the bad gosub messages start popping up, forcing me to delete the “neighbors” on the premises, and the NPCs (bartenders/waiters, specifically) enter into looped behavior where they can’t quite get to the task at hand… like a bad dream. When the errors cycle around to my active sim, I end up having to force quit. I guess I COULD filter through my hundreds of downloads, 50/50 method, yadda yadda, but… does anyone have a handle on what specific cc USUALLY causes this sort of problem? I’m guessing it’s a behavior mod, and I’ve heard MogHughson mentioned before, but I’ve already purged all of the packages from that source. I do have them separated into the 4 Bs - Build, Buy, Bodyshop and Behavior. Put all the behavioral mods in the sin bin and see what happens? I don’t know.
I lied - I missed one mod: “auto put leftovers away” from the above creator, deleted it, and the problem stopped. But now, unfortunately, a bunch of my recolored objects have reverted to their original form, or turned all blue and pulsating. WTF that mod had to do with either of those issues, I can’t fathom. Can anyone explain it? Thanks guys, and… sorry if I sound like a dunderhead.

Sounds like you probably took a bunch of stuff out of your downloads folder while testing and forgot to put it back in.

Bad gosub tree number means you have a mod searching for extra information and not finding it. Either because you are missing a needed extra file or an EP. Removing your CC won't find it.

Smarter EP check is one such extra file by Cyjon. http://cyjon.net/node/323 if you read over that you see a few mods require that to work.

Another is Money Globals at Pick N Mix mods http://www.picknmixmods.com/Sims2/D...neyGlobals.html

A third is an extra file required for the trait project, Easy Inventory Check https://hexagonal-bipyramid.tumblr....inventory-check

There are others though. The best way to avoid this error is to read over mod description carefully to see if it says that it requires an additional file to work and making sure when testing to keep those extra in a separate folder and not remove them.
