@simsfreq
I understand. It will work.
Maybe you like conversions of 3t2 and 4t2 Maxis' careers: https://simfileshare.net/folders/edit/92880/
There are 3t2 Game development careers in Uni Life.

These are good questions. You could receive money if you successfully protect the item and become a full fledge member of whatever team you're in. If you fail, your teammates will become hostile towards you. Your friendship status with them would decline.
We could raise the steaks a bit and have the burglar become a serious threat to the neighborhood. If they steal a deadly virus, everyone in the hood becomes ill and die. If they steal a weather machine, the weather constantly changes. If they steal a giant laser weapon, your lot will burn down.

I would like to see more self-closing curtains based on the one Inge Jones made long ago. Specifically, the HolySimoly Simply Elegant set, which already has closed versions made for it by Evanesco.
I love seeing the curtains open in the day and closed at night, but the original meshes are basic, and I'd like elegant.

I haven't seen any of Holy Simoly curtains adapted to this, though. Perhaps some enterprising person will do that, huh?

I have used them, but I didn't love them enough, and they went out in one of my culls. The Simply Elegant set is one of the few I use all the time, so it would be good if they had the extra functionality. Not A Request! I may ask on GoS eventually.
I had a look at Simlogical's info on the curtains, in case I could see how to do it, but it was mostly gobbledeygook to me. I'll have another look one day when I have lots of brain; perhaps it will make sense then! I can just about cope with a bit of recolouring this week.

I want a mod where they break the windows, so that my lots in bad neighborhoods (like Pleasantview became 10 years after the game was released, according to my story, lol) can have broken windows to go with the graffiti! I know there's a downloadable one, but I can't exactly replace every window in Pleasantview with one of that style, damnit!

This set is compatible with plenty of windows and can be used effectively to give the imprrssion that windows are broken - I used it in my apocalyptic hood.

I wish there were more tiaras converted from the Sims 4. They have so, so many cool ones but barely any of them have made it to Sims 2. I also wish I would find more jewellery that is categorized as BV jewellery instead of glasses. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right places. If I had the time (and money for Milkshape), I would try to learn conversion myself. Maybe one day. There is a cool blog called KarieAmel on tumblr that does Sims 4 clothes & accessoires from the Turkish series Magnificent Century and I would love to have them in the Sims 2. So far no one seems to have converted anything of it. Seems like I really have to learn to do it myself eventually.

I dunno about Sims 4 tiaras, but if you look on PBK under the search word "Tiara" you can find all kinds of them. It's a feature of the medieval game that many characters need these headpieces.
For one instance, this thread.

I know. I already have most of them in game. But I also have a few conversions from Sims 4 and I noticed I liked them better because they tend to have more structure and dimension to them while these are unfortunately rather flat. Altough these ones are great and I use them with many of my main families. I'm just being a bit nit-picky.

Here's two ideas that I think would be neat...
Idea One: Holding hands. Whether it's a child holding hands with a sibling or a parent, or a couple teenage lovebirds, or an elder couple married since the olden days... it would be a neat feature. And it could be combined with...
Idea Two: Walking and/or Jogging Trails... We have some community lots, like Woodland Park in Pleasantview (one of the OLDEST Community lots) where there's a large lake and seems to be a dirt path around the lake. Sending sims to walk around the lake is annoying. They'll take the shortest route, so you have to send them ALL the way to the opposite side, then ALL the way back, and hope they don't turn around and come back the way they came. haha. But if there was a way, maybe through special floor tiles that would prompt sims to walk from one to the next, that could be placed around the trails and go invisible when the game goes into live mode, that would be kinda awesome!
I imagine you could have a "join" feature, so 2 or more sims can walk together... maybe a group of 5 teens wants to take a walk together? Maybe 2 parents just wanna go for a stroll, while their kids play on the swings. It would be up to you. They could walk in a group, or, with Idea One implemented, they could walk holding hands (though maybe not the 5 teens all holding each other's hands... that could get troublesome). Of course, joggers wouldn't be able to hold hands. But walking around the park together could have +nature enthusiasm. Jogging would have +fitness. And they'd be able to talk while they're walking/jogging together for +social. It always bugs me when they leave talking out of certain interactions. It just seems creepy that two sims could sit there together, doing the same thing, and not acknowledge each other whatsoever! haha...

OK so I didn't think I'd ever play with TS2 traits, but I just had a thought. Remember the pyromaniac toddler from the TS2 trailer? Could we create THAT with traits?? Like a random chance for a toddler (or older) to set objects on fire? For toddlers/children you could do it without an animation, and adults could use the firework lighting or candle lighting animation. It would give them fun and they could be immune to panicking when a fire is around, instead they could laugh at it. You could direct them to fight it, but they wouldn't do so automatically.
I would totally give this trait to the children of firefighters XD
I found a firebending trait here: https://jellymeduza.tumblr.com/post...tar-bending-mod
But I assume it doesn't give toddlers firebending abilities...

Two come to mind immediately:
A "No Sim Howls" Want or Fear mod. I get spammed with that so much. Surprised I haven't come across a mod for it.
An overhaul turning 'juice' into alcohol, complete with drunk behavior and hangovers on the next day.

The Sim Howls want/fear does not have a check tree, so you can't mod when it occurs except by overriding WantTrees.package, and that's a pain in the ass and conflicts with every other override of WantTrees.package, so I imagine that's why no one has done it.
I think someone made an alcohol mod like that. I don't remember who it was, though, except that it was someone who named all of their BHAVs almost exactly the same thing, which makes figuring out how any of their stuff works basically impossible.

There should be a free "sticks and rocks" toy to put outside for toddlers of very poor families.

I have a few cheap/trashy toddler toys, that look like not-toy items.
https://modthesims.info/d/320291/a-...-toy-chest.html
This set recommended to me by Jo (sorry no preview)
https://www.mediafire.com/file/oyzf..._Alice.rar/file
https://modthesims.info/d/220439/th...-toy-a-box.html
And a set of pots and pans
https://sims2.aroundthesims3.com/ob...eative_001.html
Don't forget this crib too
https://modthesims.info/d/251788/a-...advantaged.html
Edited to add: A sand pile (maybe it could be recoloured into dirt?)
https://modthesims.info/d/51438/san...r-toddlers.html
Sim toddlers can also automatically play with piles of leaves, puddles and snow outside and eat flowers.

Thanks, @Justpetro =) ...it'd be nice if they could hold hands for hiking, too!
Several folks have made alcohol mods, but none are really all that well executed (IMHO). Simslice had six packs and kegs (separate mods). I think Pandora /7 Deadly Sims had an alcohol mod (but their stuff is wonky) and Frac from PBK made one, though i'm not sure if it's on PBK or if it's on her simblr.
Problem is, most of the reactions are just not well done. As an example, i think it's the six pack that makes the drinker randomly choose a flirt interaction to execute. The problem is, the target is ALWAYS the oldest sim on the property. So if your naughty teens are having a party and drinking while mom & dad sleep, everybody who drinks is going to queue up to wake the dad and ask him to marry them or something. And Frac's alcohol has all negative consequences (she basically said she doesn't like drinking and didn't want to make it a positive experience)... But if there were ZERO positives, who would ever do it? I've yet to find one that's not unbalanced and/or sloppy.
A more realistic "adult beverage" mod would probably be a lot of work, but it would include the good with the bad... maybe some effects like the vacation benefits of "Je Ne Sais Quoi" and/or the "Productive" benefit, while they're drunk, and a "Grouchy" effect or negative versions of "Industrious," "Productive" and "Refreshed" rewards, when it wears off. stuff like that... Of course, many already include inducing vomiting and/or bladder failure. But there's plenty more possible ++s and --s.
Anyway, I agree -- a good "juice" mod would be a welcomed addition!
