Now I'm kind of glad I skipped this round. I don't think mine would've been a very good match for a family fun centre.

(Will totally try it anyway once the paper is done and my NaNo word count is caught up. The elections coverage messed up my mojo last night. My heart, thoughts and prayers are with all the Americans waking up today to this...)

Kanzen, yes, you still have a few days to catch up on the Victorian.

Campy. I watched it all live in horror last night at my job. I left in shock and tears.

Hi Phae, When will we get our 'plans'? Do we have to knock out walls or do we keep them? (My home internet has been spotty lately. I may not be able to get back online at home.)

Plans are very behind. You can always keep all your walls. The plans are only needed if you want to remove walls.

I try to only pick what I think look like 'load bearing' walls, so if you really need to bust a wall out, and it doesn't look like it's holding the building together, you can give it a shot and hope I concur with you later.

Oh! Ok. I had no plans to knock any walls down. Do we get to enlarge the bathrooms to more that one toilet?

If I need to open a load bearing wall, may I use columns to support it?

You may add extra plumbing fixtures as long as they remain near where the old ones were. Basically, you can't run new plumbing lines, but you may expand on the existing ones. Same goes for the kitchen, the sink needs to be where you already had water access.

@Phaenoh Can I pm you my comments? I have been doing longer ones this round and the comment I left yesterday is not showing up at all. I'm not sure if all of Cat's comment is there either, it seems to end in the middle of a sentence. Actually none of the scores I added for ForeverCamp is showing at all.

Does all of my comments show up for you? When I look at the sheet I see my comments end in the middle of a sentence, but maybe that's only on my end, I did a copy and paste into the box.

Maybe a text-wrap issue on your settings?

I hope somebody stocked the juice bar while I was distracted by being without water for 2 weeks! No comment on your election outcome, I am far too ashamed of our showerhead to say anything about another country! Survived his 5th (or so) motion of no confidence yesterday. Lots of shebeen queens in the public gallery, cheering for him (and collecting their free T-shirts and KFC after - we should get them to back our sport teams)! Probably back sleeping in Parly on Monday (literally, but that is the only time our rand does not fall - we like it when he and his ministers sleep in Parly. Unfortunately, some other oppostion parties insist on waking them up and shouting at them that they are at work).

They brought us a water tanker this morning, after I made - wait for it - 251 phone calls to our Municipality, our government councillors, the opposition councillors - and nobody still knows why there are no water flowing (we have enough water, lack of competence and complete stupidity causing this). We, the town residents, even have a High Court Order that forces the Municipality to ensure that we have water. Okay, enough about that. I have so much laundry that I literally don't know where to start, but I will try to post my factory ASAP.

Off drinking first (A LOT)

As somebody who lives in the country with the young, hip prime minister and his "Sunny ways, sunny days" tagline, I really should just be sitting quiet and thanking my lucky stars. Hope your water gets fixed soon!

Well, I am officially back on track with my NaNo, so once that pesky paper gets finished I can open up my Sims again!

No idea, how do I check?

Petro, that sounds horrible. I know even having the water off for a few hours is very inconvenient.

Oh, we are kind of used to it these days We laugh, we go and buy water to drink (cheaply, the water shop is saving lives around here), and we fight and scream and write letters and sign petitions. Only been doing that for around 5 years, you know () - we will keep on going until our water flows again! (Could not even order a coffee in town today. Normally it is not quite this bad, normally the water comes back before every tank in town is empty - hell, do you see - I am speaking about something as if it should be normal at all).

But hopefully we will be clean and have some clean clothes and some clean floors shortly And I can tackle the factory!

What I have learned recently, is that my curtains block almost NO morning light. Also, after going two weeks on barely any and fitful at best sleep, you do sorta start to go insane. Amazon is bringing me blackout curtains tomorrow. Third shift itself is rough, but the job is actually easy and fun and I like it.

Hey, new judges, waiting on your scores for the Church renos. Any setbacks I need to know about?

Warehouse reno people, is anyone wanting to demo walls? Most of you kept your walls in the churches, so I'm wondering how needed the diagrams are.

Okay, so I went into the scoresheet that I can see (cause I was lazy and bookmarked it in the first round... LOL), and I can't seem to find anywhere that indicates a text wrap option. I would think it might be in your cell format options if you right-click the cell in question?

However.... I did notice a slight issue whereby Judges 3, 4 and 5 all have exactly the same comments. I don't know what happened there, but I wasn't really paying attention to the numbers to see if they'd all had the same scoring as well.

Yeah, I didn't set it up for that round for the new judges comments properly I guess. I'll be sure to fix the next rounds' comment section.

Maybe pm the new judges to make sure they know what they are doing. It's easy to miss posts in here.

Yeah it looks like Judge 4 and 5's scores and comments are duplicates of Judge 3's. Is something wonky with the Reno 1 tab of the public score sheet?

Yeah, I hadn't finished setting up that spreadsheet yet, I do it after I get all the judges scores in, mostly so y'all can't be sneaky. I see now that I'm going to have to be extra sneaky. Also, fixed.

Hi! I've been working on the reno, and this is what I have so far. In order to fit the rink, I had to knock down the "inner gate" of the loading dock. I also knocked down a couple of other walls, as well as adding some more floor tiles on the second floor (I actually don't know if that's allowed, in the original post it only says we can't add extra levels). I also "deactivated" the loading gate and turned it into full lenght windows.

I have included pictures of the original floor plan followed by the new, for comparison (and, if possible, for someone to point out any mistake I made in terms of walls and such).

Question: Does everything have to be working? Like the rink? Or can it just look like a working rink? Because - size of rinks
