This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Employed Pets
I have a pet that is employed but something is a miss when the pet goes to work. I watch the pet get in the car to go to work, but as soon as the car drives off, the pet reappears at the front door. Later in the sim day, a message comes up that the pet had missed work and could be fired if it happens again.

I had that happen once when I had something installed without the necessary companion file installed and it caused that with my sims.I'd check for something like Job stoppinator beind sintaled without having Smarter EP check installed along with that Mod.
