Welcome to Πολυτελές (which translates, according to google, to luxury pool, very creative I know )
Venue: The Wave Leisure Centre
There is CC
Sims 4
*I don't know why the wall sort of vanishes at the bottom in the top of the pic, but I assure you there is no grass in the rooms, the walls were just being weird.
*K's original shell is the rental office, staff room and the kitchen/counter part of the cafe
The ground floor features a tennis court, a place to rent pool and tennis equipment, a cafe with indoor and outdoor seating, a "hidden grotto", restrooms with showers, and the staff area.
Tennis court and rental window
Rental "office"
Cafe
"Hidden grotto"
Staff room
*In order to get the room under the roof to show, I had to have the walls on cutaway. The plants that seem to be in the restrooms are actually on the walls outside, which you can see in the other sim view pics
Second floor features the main pool, two restrooms with "changing rooms" with lockers, various indoor/semi-indoor/outdoor seating
Main pool
Inside the arched roof/pass thru thingy at the front of the lot
Inside the semi-indoor seating at the back
The third floor (inside the roof) features two bars, jukebox and lounge seating
Sorry no story this time. Not feeling it

Um, a quick question: Does the Round 1 holiday venue have to be related with the main resort of the last round?

No, it must be related though. The last round was the venue from which you travelled to your round 1 resort. So Round 1 through to the end must be related

Oh, right: Is there a limit on how many screenshots we can upload?

Reason: Zath is right; 12 other pics
@gamer1616 see the first post under heading for 'screenshots' for details
tldr; Required - One front shot of venue from street at sim eye-level, and how ever many floor plans per floor you made + 12 other screenshots of your choosing that best show off the lot.

@charmful - first post says we're allowed 12 "other" screenshots beyond the front and floor plans.
A thought... when it comes to lot-building contests, are there "rules" about uploading the lots created for it? Are we supposed to? Are we not supposed to? Are we just supposed to decide for ourselves?

The Grand Ouiatenon Hotel
Game: The Sims 3Venue: Upmarket Hotel
No CC.
The concept of my vacation comes from resort town of West Baden Springs, Indiana and its historic resort and the mineral springs there. So the mountains of Hidden Springs are passing for the rolling hills of southern Indiana. Taking advantage of the contest as motivation, i wanted to challenge myself with a specific architectural style, since my train station for the entry round was pretty generic. I went for Richardsonian Romanesque, a fanciful Victorian style. (The city hall for Moonlight Falls is a wonderful in-game example in the Sims 3.) The typical large massing is well-suited for squeezing a "grand" hotel on a 40x30 lot. Gables, bands rounded windows, and castle-like ornamentation dominate the structure. The recessed entrance is reached by passing clustered columns surmounted by arches (the round arch (along with the dome and barrel vault) is the main feature the Romans brought to the architectural table.) Detailed wall treatment and an asymmetric form make for a stunning 1880s Victorian hotel.
I was also inspired by the hotel in the movie The Grand Budapest Hotel, especially the multi-story atrium ringed with railings. The name for my Grand Ouiatenon Hotel comes from the French territorial fort of the same name (also in Indiana) meaning place of the Wea people (a Native American tribe). (Oh, the French and all your vowels....) Of course, that's a historied American tradition of naming things that have zero to do with Native Americans after Native American people...
There are a total of 17 rooms and suites for guests. They break down as follows:
4 Standard Double (A) - 1 double bed, 1 bath.
4 Single (B) - 1 single bed, 1 bath.
4 Deluxe Double (C) - 1 double bed, 1 bath, seating with tv, desk.
1 Double Suite (D) - Separate bedroom, 1 double bed, 1 bath, seating with tv, desk.
1 Family Suite (E)- Separate bedrooms, 1 double bed, i single bed, 1 bath (shower and tub), seating with tv, desk. (Satisfies the required suite)
2 Large Family Suite (F)- Separate bedrooms, 1 double bed, 2 single bed, 2 bath (one with both shower and tub), double vanity, seating with tv, desk.
1 Tower Suite (G)- Separate bedroom, separate office in tower room, 1 bath (shower and tub), double vanity, seating with tv, bar.
All rooms come with a dresser for storage. (And color coordinated for floor plan comprehension!)
1-Entrance, 2-Reception, 3-Elevator, 4-Staff Restroom, 5-Offices, 6-Cocktail Lounge, 7-Billiard Room, 8-Stairs, 9-Guest Laundry, 10-Guest Restrooms, 11-Atrium Lounge
12-Restaurant/Dining Room, 13 Breakfast/Buffet Room, 14 Kitchen
Kinda hard to show much of such a huge build with only a dozen pics, and I'm not the best with pictures, so sorry about that. (Seriously, I think my computer hates me. About 10 rooms and 200 objects more than it wants to handle. I even removed the basement with staff stuff in it...)
18 pictures: 1 front + 5 floors (counting the roof as a floor, this time) + 12 misc.
Lots of Store items, notably: Castle Build Set, roof stuff and window from Midnight Hollow, Pedro Estate doors and arches, dining tables and restaurant bits, deco arch from Live Laugh Love, windows from Regal living, Hewnsman column, wallpaper from Monte Vista, various plants, pictures, room mirrors, and end tables.
The downloadable TS3 lot for round 1 seems to be orientated differently than those for the other games (see post #482) with the long (40) side at the streetside. Did not catch the difference until far too late.

Geez... I can't open any of the tents that come with World Adventures or Island Paradise... I tried opening them in Live Mode and in Build/Buy Modes, but it's no use... I even assigned the lot to be a Base Camp, but no luck there. Does anyone here know how to open them?

gamer1616, I use the Simsample/Bluefunk mod here on MTS. If I put a tent from buydebug, it stays put up in live mode (and is fully usable).

Help, front picture !
Hello ! I've finished my lot but I don't know which front picture I must choose (I've too many pictures to keep them all !). The matter is that sometimes there's a right angle but you can't see much OR you see a little more but the angle isn't quite right ! And trust me, for this required picture, I've tried everything and every angles (ex : for the second one, if I try to go back further to see more, the road tunnel appear and hide the view) ...
First I would have chosen the third one but the angle is very wrong, and I fear to end up with penalities ... I must absolutely fill all the requirements : I can't afford to loose any points stupidily, because my building skills are not quite good ...
Can I have your help ? Which one would you choose ?
I believe in the "Thanks" button and its amazing powers !!!

None of those images are good front pictures. Take a look at my profile and the angles that I take mine at. That should help you

Round 1 - Atlantis' Camping UnderWaterGround
Hello ! I'm tired, I won't improve anymore, sorry. I think I was a little bit too ambitious with the Atlantis theme and all the historic and luxurious details needed, but Fractured Moonlight's set was the reason I got the idea, so I decided to begin by this.Game: The Sims 2
Venue: camping Ground
A lot of CC.
I bring to you the camping UnderWaterGround for the most aventurous rich people : you won't find here the luxury you expect for, but you'll certainly get an unique experience of life underwater. Like a mermaid. You might even meet one, who knows ?
I was too tired to picture the mermaids, but you have the pictures of the lot.
The front picture is taken without the glass tunnel that prevents the poor sims to be smatch away by the sea, but it's for the good of the picture, sorry.
Here we go, a way to visit underwater areas and Atlantis ruins as if you were an explorer, but without the dangerous parts !
The ground with a part under the dome where you can breath, and a part underwater where you can't ... But don't fear : there's an airlock / diving entrance that allows you to put on your diving equipment, before going out !
The first floor is NOT publicly available, for security reasons, because there are ruins (You might get a special pass, if you're really special...). We wanted to keep the original walls, because it's unique ! What is the point to go to Atlantis, if you can't see the real Atlantis, but only cement ?
UNDER THE DOME
THE MAIN ROOM
There's a little bit of comfort in the building, for you to dry your swimsuit, play chess, drink coffee or so.
THE ROOM IN THE BACK
You can freely recharge your oxygen tank and so, in order to be able to "stay the night out".
You can even take a shower to get rid of the salt. If you don't mind the rusticity of it (there's no possibility for the pipes to get through in that part of the resort).
Or you can simply seat and watch the dance of the sea ...
THE FIRST FLOOR
UNDER WATER
Here is the main part : caves that you can visit or where you can stay the night (3 tents), some vegetables usable as you wish (tables, chairs, hammocks, lamps, kitchen utilities, even toilets....).
Don't forget to visit the ruins ...
There's even a little cosy place to seat on the rocks and be alone in the sea.
And the last picture as a bonus for you to see that there's really a BBQ, just not like you're used to see them...
