Right, sorry this is a bit lacking in fanfare but it just got too late. So no John this week. Maybe I'll add him back later if anybody cares it's not as though my storytelling is being assessed for the contest!
Destination: Hedgehog Wood Park (Holiday park, somewhere in the woods in England)
Venue: "Owl's Hoot Clubhouse". This is sort of a hybrid but I'm going to go with cafe/restaurant. I wanted to do theatre, but I'm not sure my set up counts as being three chairs in a row, and I didn't want to change it because rows aren't natural for this kind of venue. In any case, this is a venue where sims might conceivably go expressly for a meal or a drink as opposed to just going to be entertained, so I think it fits the cafe/bar requirements enough.
CC: I did use CC this time.
Lot: I hope I did it right. I chose the lot size listed as "4x3" rather than "3x4" on the lot choose screen. The front edge of the lot is uppermost in the top-down photos.
Through the sunburst doors we go...
The Clubhouse is the place to be for any sim seeking food, company or entertainment, 12 noon til late. The main room is a spacious hall. Usually, like today, it's filled with tables and chairs but sometimes the staff will push them aside for a disco.
Open from lunchtime to early evening, the cafe serves a selection of deep-fried and microwaved foods for your sims to indulge in. What? They are on holiday, after all. After the cafe closes, the shutters come down.
If you're too late for dinner, you can always nibble on some crisps or peanuts from the bar. But mainly they are here to serve soft drinks, spirits and beer.
At the back of the hall there is a pool area and the walls are decorated with photos, postcards, drawings and other souvenirs that guests have left or sent to the park's staff over the years. While some people visit as a one off, many guests return year after year and seeing themselves and their friends here reinforces the community feeling and makes the clubhouse feel like home.
But the front of the clubhouse is the star of the show. A small stage area allows for various different entertainments. Tonight it's Bingo night. There is a regular entertainer who performs cabaret and stand up and a talent show run once a week, on Saturday night. And of course, don't miss Tuesday Karaoke.
Behind the stage is a staircase leading down to the basement. This has the boiler and heating and serves as a general storage.
There is also a small dressing room area with a single toilet.
Mostly what is stored down here is old props, costumes and scenery, but there are also some files.
Outside is a small play area and the fire escape from the kitchens. This area is locked after the kitchens close, so the play area is really only accessible during the day.
Here is that kitchen. It's not the most pristine, but it works. And it's fitted with both a sprinkler system and a fire alarm.
If kids and teens feel like Mum and Dad are cramping their style, or they are bored of pool, they can come along to the arcade room and spend their pocket money. The toilets are also found here. (I don't know why the shadow of the pinball machine is messed up. Probably windows 10.)
Four top-down views. The provided challenge structure makes up the arcade and toilets. I didn't highlight because it looked terrible when I tried.
Basement
Main floor
Roof
Front view: I hope this is okay. It was as low to the ground as I could get it and get the whole thing to be in shot. I am sorry that I am the world's oldest dinosaur, but, damnit, I still play on a 4:3 monitor, not widescreen. And that makes shots like this harder to take. This is front as in the side facing the actual road.
Also now I am regretting not taking a picture of the other side of the building because that window is repeated on that side, and I like the way it looks. Not enough to start up the game again though. Sorry!
I use the sims as a psychology simulator...

There are still two entries missing though, but there are 35 mins to deadline!

simsfreq, I really like how you did the bar counter in your lot! At first I'd just glanced past it, but then I realized that there weren't any walls involved! Very clever use of overlapping things... I may have to steal that sometime in the future!

Bed and Breakfast at Wald Villa TS3
What do you do when you have a large house and a large family but the recession that has hit Austria-Hungary after the 'Great War means there is not enough food to feed everyone? Well, you open a bed and breakfast and hope that the summer is good and you have enough guests to save money for the hard winter.
You turn the main room downstairs into a entry hall for the guests
And add comfortable chairs
You turn the study into a dining room for the guests
and put a long table to seat you, your husband, his two brothers and your sister in law, and your seven children in a room shut away from the guests. You have your desk there and a calendar for marking when the guests are due to arrive and depart.
You are glad of the big kitchen you thought was so wonderful when you first married Hans Pfeifen, as you are now cooking for eight guests at the height of the season as well as the twelve people in the family.
You buy cheap beds to put up in the attics for you all and get your husband and his brothers to make walls to separate off your rooms for the guest rooms.
Your old bedroom is big enough for a 'family bedroom' with a double bed and a single, and sometimes you are asked to add a cot for a baby
You decorate the guest bedrooms to look cosy and welcoming
and manage to add three guest bathrooms (and even get an inside lavatory added for the family!)
Guests enjoy the balconies which are sweet with the scent of the flowers that adorn them
And you get fresh milk and eggs from your animals as well as some fruit to help keep the food bills down
The main entrance and guest dining room are the original shell
(I only realised the deadline had been changed when I went to check the screenshot number tonight! I was spending time with younger son yesterday as he's now off to Scout Camp for a week, thinking I had more time - ah, well, that will teach me to leave things to the last minute!) Ignore my gibberish, I'd read the deadline as on 30th May, not Karen Lorraine's birthday on 30th May! Did think it was odd to have it on the Monday, but decided you were using the bank holiday to give us an extra day! D'oh!
'Wald Villa' is based on Frau Pfeifen's Wald Villa although it takes more visual inspiration from the houses around the Achensee than the actual photos of the modern Wald Villa I found online.
No CC used, various store items!
'Wald Villa' and my 'Tiernsee' are shot in Hidden Springs.

@CatherineTCJD I don't recognise the wall coverings in the foyer of the toilet area as game content.

Simnar - Jewel of the Nation
Type: Convenience Store.Required
Cash Register - yes multiple.
Dress Rack - yes.
Vege Bin - Note: Both Crisp and Kerosene's 1t2 Produce Stand, and Sandy's Market counters are Vege Bins.
Typical Item on sale for this area - antiques in indian style.
CC Used: yes. (CC that I have made for this lot will be released onto MTS. WCIF's are ok).
Late: Yes.
Welcome to Simnar Street Market.
Mostly catering to tourists, although you will find many locals here as well.
Overview Ground Level -
This is the only level that is occupied. (The Rug shop, Dress Shop and Fabric shop exist in the original shell).
1st Floor Level -
Roof Level
The view as you enter the courtyard where all trading occurs. Because of the heat of summer, the stalls open to the courtyard which is cool and shaded.
Going in clockwise rotation around the courtyard:
The Rug Shop - where local artisans display rugs in traditional and contemporary patterns.
The Fabric Shop - Where saree fabric and other local patterns can be bought. There is an archway into the Dress shop - the only shop which has its own door to the street
The Dress Shop - Ready to wear clothing is available, but they have sims who will make up your fabric into clothes in many styles. Very cheap, very good.
The Vegetable Shop - produce from the farms that surround Simnar, also spices and some dyes.
The Antique Shop - furniture, paintings, rugs, jewellry, if you can see it in the shop you can buy it. All are true antiques and not knock-offs from a factory. Promise!
The Tea Shop - All the accoutrements of tea (the major export crop grown here) are available here. Choose your tea, then have it brewed and drink it in the traditional manner.
The Bubble Shop - For your psychedelic pleasure. Hookahs with pleasing bubbles available in private for you and a friend
Wait in the sparse entry for your turn and this relaxing activity.
Simthing for everyone

Thank you all
As it is my birthday I am off out for the day so I will not be posting the next round until later today and it may not even be until tomorrow evening as it depends what time I get back. You will still get two weeks to complete the round.

Wow, amazing lots! I especially love ankoyume's very creative underwater campground (I wish I could go camping in a forest of giant algae, stone pines seem boring in comparison ^^) and celebkiriedhel's market, so colorful and detailed, it's gorgeous =D

RE: wallpaper in restroom foyer:
Dagnabbit! I found it. Apparently, it's from Lifestyles: wall-papereyestripesleft and wall-papereyestripesright
I took my 'hiders' out - and now I have lots of "new" (EA) wallpapers that I'd forgotten about. I thought these were part of those - and came with UNI's college-psychedelic-hideous papers.
Pooh. No bonus then for me. *sigh*

I just realized I am confused about something for round 1. In the first post it is said that
but in the round 1 post Karen stated
I took that to mean it that I could add outer walls' but then I noticed half of the entires kept the structures the same shape as the initial shell. So was Round 1 a shell where we were supposed to not add outer walls or one that we could and not incur a score penalty?

You're fine Charmful, there's no penalty for adding to the structure's exterior because she stated that you may add to the structure.
This is a case of "otherwise stated" being in force. There would not have been a need to mention "you can add to the structure" if she didn't imply that you can add to the exterior of it.

I mean that's what I originally figured but second-guessed it after looking through all the entries and saw many did keep the shell's original structure so maybe thought I didn't read it correctly. Thanks for clarification!
