I was able to get the Sims 2 (Origin Ultimate Collection) running pretty well on the Steam Deck through Proton. I'll give more details if there's interest but it's much the same as any other Origin game, although at the end of launch options add a -w to launch the game in windowed mode. I'm working on controls now and I got a lot of work ahead of me.
