They sounds like spells from Harry Potter series, which is cool! Witches would definitely be my favorite creature(since they practically are humans)

And the amnesia spell looks scary. But maybe it'll be useful for erasing memories before we move sims between hoods (so that we don't have to use SimPE) Doubt it, but maybe...

Hmm, I was going to make a good witch, but I really want to be able to summon the spectral cat. Honestly, the spectral pets are the coolest thing about witches in my opinion. I can't wait! Too bad my computer will probably be in the shop when I get it, but I can wait a few extra days.

I think you can summon the cat no matter what your alignment. For the good witches I think it is the "summon spectral assistant" spell.

What I am now wondering is if you are say a good witch and are leaning towards the dark arts, does that mean for a while some good spells, some evil spells and most neutral spells (the ones you can use with your current magical ability) are in your ability to cast?

I too can't wait for the witches. The different creatures are already my most favorite part of the game and the witches I think will take the cake! XD

So what does Tabula rasa do anyway when Amnesia is mentioned?

from the guide it erases all memories from the sim you cast on and makes all relationships 0 daliy and o lifetime is permanent

Does the amnesia eraase memories of one sim or all sims the paticular sim knows?

if you cast this spell on a household of sims then you could move them lol since they not have memories of meeting them

I have no idea if it was a glitch for my game or not, but I had my witch summon her familiar and I named it, gave it the things it needed (bowl, bedding etc). Well it all appeared fine until my Sim went to work, when I next look back the cat was gone from the family. Not sure why, but then I don't know much about these pets at all.

They mentioned that when you Sim leaves the lot, the Spectral Cats go back to the void.

Oh, see I didn't know anything about them. So they don't come back, you have to recast the spell?

i was'nt really bothered about the witches, i did'nt think i would even use them, but im liking the look of the spells they can do :P

I have a good witch and she can cast any of the neutral spells too, Oh and the spectral assistant is not the cat its like a transparent figure of a witch that goes around cleaning things.
